I like the smell of burning hemp, it is like incense. The smells from diesel trucks, gas stations,garbage cans, dog poop, farms... Weed isn't even close to being as offensive, it is a purely a manufactured problem that does not need a regulation. Agreed that these stupid politicos are out of line here.

Out of line, yes. But I will still be voting yes on AA. Over taxed and over regulated is better than hassles from the Feds. It's too late to get it changed to something reasonable.... but I agree that they're all fucktards.

As far as AA goes we knew it was gonna be a ridiculous over tax anyway when we started, but telling me I can't smoke in my own back. That's where I draw the fucking line. Everyone I know got the link I hope peolple stand up and fight this bullshit.

Bubba, I respectfully disagree. Recreational cannabis can be adequately regulated with regular sales tax and the existing (exorbitant) retail/wholesale license fees. Giving the regulators such an obscene amount of money is irresponsible. They won't know how to manage it so we'll end up paying for things like SUVs with no staff to drive them.

I respect and actually agree with what you're saying.... the volume of money will be far more than needed and will likely lead to graft in the bureaucracy.. However, I feel if we don't pass AA, even lame as it is, we will be in a battle with the Feds.... we don't need that. I voted for 24 always with the intention to vote yes on the tax bill.... it's too high, but I feel we need something in place.

That is true. Most people do not smoke weed and do not care.
My father, a real conservative has never smoked pot and is disgusted with a 51% tax. He would vote against it if he lived here.

Well lol, reckon I walked into that. You must not have read my posts man, I think the tax is too high also, but I'm still voting for it. And no, I'm not afraid of my government, only that they will not act as they should and as quickly as they should.
Truly, my reasoning for voting for is purely selfish. I want to see the A64 implementation go smooth as possible. If this happens, there is an outside chance that congress may give us relief on the CSA of 1970 and it's rat bastard sister law The drug free workplace act of 1985 sometime in my lifetime.

There was a guy at the task force meetings in Denver who argued that we should regulate alcohol like MMJ. He made the point that what is evolving into law is a far cry from what A64 says. Taxes are too high already, there are too many government employees, they are paid too much and their pensions are way out of balance. I voted no to both tax increases. And I paid to vote by putting stamps on the ballot.

I hope it doesn't pass but I'm sure everyone who didn't vote for amend 64 will vote for amend AA. They didn't want 64 so they'll stick it to those who did. It won't take many from the pro 64 side to get it passed. If it does I'll just be happy with my homegrown.
