So we are thinking th plant that just split down the middle of the stock is a male. It is starting to form what look to us like balls, but we are going to give it a few more days just to make sure.

LOL I hope so too, but it looks like the plant might not survive anyways, but we shall wait and see. Another quick question, how do we get rid of slugs? We noticed last night that we have lots all over our plants and they are eating the leaves. What do we do?

epson salt rings around plants ... or take some cheap beer and place it in a container with a top and sides cut out ... like a cool whip container with a slot cut in the side , etc .. it works well and should help ur slug problem

hey Chikeeta! Glad to see ya'll are still going! :) For slugs, a shallow dish of beer near your plants will attract the slugs/snails and then drown them. There is also copper tape that they hate - you can wrap the bottoms of your plants w/ it or create a barrier w/ it. Slug Off Copper Barrier Heck - you could use some circles of pennies too. I wouldn't put salt on my dirt that I'm watering into, but that's just me. Someone also just told me about Tanglefoot, which you can apply to the base of your plants to "catch" anything that would normally crawl up and start chowing - it wouldn't be good for slugs but would be good for any insects that crawl over it.

Hey gillfman - that's a great use for all that phone cord laying around not connected to anything. (A phone...with a cord?) Excellent suggestion and a good reason to get out the cord stripper, which is always fun to use. ;)

phone cord... pffft i ripped it right out of the wall .. haha jk ... where we clean shit out and found electrical wire that oyu use for light fixtures etc ... i was like GANJA! i was like this will work perfectly ... wat i did was make it into a loop and made hooks on both ends.. so i can easily place around the plants or remove from them... it works well .. no slug problems .. also didnt use wire strippers .. just had my leatherman lol took a lil while to get all the wire out lol

Hey everybody,
Just wondering what it means when the centyer of the leaves and the stock start to turn purple??? Is that a sign of what type of strain it is?? Or is it something else?

its most likely a genetic thing .. mine turned a slight purpley red and faded back to green so yeah most likely genetics ..

Well so far we are now down to 1 plant the one we thought was male did turn out to be a male so we had to dispose of it, which was a little sad as it was our first. Our last one is def a female and is starting to flower already, which is turning more purple. I am going to try to take some good pics of it today.

here are the new pics can you please tell me if the purple bud like things are what it looks like when it flowers? We are almost 100% positive its a female but in one spot it looks like a male too. See in I think it's the 8th and 9th pics that make it look like a male. But in the 3 pics after that it looks like purple buds forming. So we are confused whats going on. LOL. I really hope its female cause she looks so purrtty. LOL.

All the pics are of the same plant. Whats a hermie? Will I still get buds if its a hermie?
Hermie is short for hermaphrodite. It means the plant has both male and female organs. You will get bud but it will be seeded bud, and all the seeds that come from it will also be hermie seeds.
