See, that’s why I never directly asked, I knew if you were still using it, it worked great. Now I have to find a way to dismiss all the reasons not to buy one.
I like mine too. Fruit and weed, yup. I effed up royally the first time I tried it for pot. It ended up way over dried but it still had mad fresh terps. I did that run with bag of oranges because that taste is unmistakable and it really carried through, just a texture thing really. Dense nugs became fluffy. The next time was way better, and some trays of GG4 came out perfect. It's heavy, a little loud when the vacuum pump kicks on and not something to pull out of the closet once in a while.

What is puzzling me is the buds on this plant look beautiful.but I don't know why they are so airy and not dense what can I do to make the buds more dence today she is 110 days old . Should I give her more time or could it be genetics of the bubble Kush Auto itself

You're probably not going to change much now, but high temps after mid flower is known to make the flower stretch out abit if you get my drift, so it doesn't stay as compact, also intense light is known to increase density but the be all and end all is genetics, a plants potential to produce dense buds is decided when it's bred

I have a lot to learn thank you for the information I need to get the environment dialed in and more consistent .thanks to guys I have the opportunity to grow some great smoke . The site has helped me every step of the way .there are some great people here.

You're so so welcome, give it a year and you'll be helping people in the exact position you're in now. We were all once in your shoes and someone helped us, that's how we're able to do this. We're all just part of the cycle.

Genetics is a factor in how dense buds will grow but the major driver of all aspects of cannabis growth is light. All other parts of the environment only need to be at the "satisfactory" level for the plant to reach its genetic potential. Put another way, the only part of the grow environment that improves outcome, once you've reached the level where growth of the plant is ensured, it by adding more light.

The shape of a plant is highly depended on how much light a plant receives and, to a lesser extent, what type of light a plant receives.

Plants that don't get much light have very similar characteristics - they're very tall and slender, with limited branching, and a smaller number of large leaves, and the internodal space is signficant. Conversely, a plant grown under high light conditions will have the characteristics of being short and compact, with a large number of smaller leaves, and will have less space between the nodes.

The latter characteristic is what drives "stacking" of nugs. If you provide higher light levels to your plants, yield will increase (as long as light is the limiting factor). In addition, because high light levels change how the plants grow, your likelihood of growing "stacked" nugs is higher because of the smaller internodal space.

This cola is from an autoflower that was grown at high DLI's, probably at 900±µmol for 20/4 through most of its life.

Harvest Right Home Pro medium. The large would have been nice but the medium is great.

We are putting fresh frozen bud in, no dry weight. Maybe 8 oz at a time for me.
Aw yeah I just wanted a comparison, so like you load x ammount in and it drys to half a pound or whatever, but I now realise the error of my enquiry, the bud doesn't shrink does it, so it's not comparable to say filling a fridge with buds and when it's all dry and shrunken the total weight of the bud is x ammount, therefor I was able to dry x ammount of finished product in however many litres of space

so do you freeze the bud in like a conventional freezer before you load it into the freeze dryer, meaning if you've got a ton of bud you can keep it frozen preserving terps then just run it as and when you please, if so this would be preferential to me, I could harvest a full room, freeze it all then spend 2 weeks or whatever freeze drying it a bit at a time

Exactly right. Freezing first is a necessary step but it also gives you a less frantic time frame to process it all. I just put fresh trimmed bud in a 5 gallon bucket and stuck it in a chest freezer. Then load the trays and push start. It's mostly automatic.
