Outdoor 16 ounce party cup grow

Earlier this summer, I took this plant out into a ravine and dug maybe 1-2 inch crater in the ground, then wedged the party cup partially into the ground, then left it there. Earlier this week, on Wednesday, I went out to look for it. I looked for awhile, then my friend who is in on the grow with me finally found it.

*Note: I edited out part of the first photo so you can't recognize it.


See if you can spot it. This is the picture we took before we picked it up.

This is how tall it is. Holy cow!

I might take more of my plants to that location. What are the odds of someone being able to trace the plant back to me? Assuming they don't see me actually there.

If they dident see you how would they even remotely connect you to the grow site. unless your stupid and you leave crap behind but you should be fine :)
Are you going to transplant them soon?

I'm not going to transplant them yet, but I will probably take some more potted plants from my backyard to the ravine place.:mrgreen:

yea just tranplant. also as i learned im a first time grower. men te plant is a lot bigger than the pot or a cup in your case a slight breeze can knock it over. i would take that into consideration

Basically here is the deal. If you have a plant in the ground, then it can survive the gap between rains, often times days. If you have it in an outdoor pot, you better be ready to water it alot. EXCEPT this one. The cup is completely concealed under the "canopy" of other plants, which are all about 1 to 1 and a half feet tall. This allows for increased water retention. When it rains, the stuff stays wet/moist for at least a week, if not more. I half expected for the plant to be tipped over / wilted, but no! Outdoor grows tend to work wonders, lol.

well without gloves you know they can at least get finger prints.... spend $2 save your self a head ache just my pov, but thats wild from a 16 oz cup keep us posted

I got some 1 gallon nursery pots, I might take some of them out there.

Those plants are over 5 feet tall and they're almost as tall as the fence in my backyard. Shit. haha
