I'm not mad at all. What would I have to be mad about? You're the one typing in all caps and hurling insults.

I'm attempting to present my point in a concise and legible manner. Which is hard to do when posting on a forum and talking about this subject. I attempted to make my post as short and sweet as possible.

And now you turn to my perceived lack of experience to try and undercut any points that I made.

You're not having a discussion. You're not having a debate. You're acting like a child.
"MY WAY IS RIGHT CUZ I SAID ITS RIGHT AND ANYONE WHO DISAGREES IS STUPID" that is not how you have a discussion.

Like I said i'm done responding. Go ahead and reply when you want to have a discussion instead of hurling insults and having a pissing contest.
Your clearly only here to argue about nonsense. You have minimal insight on how plants grow in optimal conditions. Saying a plant will with 1/3 the amount of co2 and on average 30% less received 100% optimal lighting, can out due one that is peaked fully? please once more i ask you to look into limiting factor in growing cannabis. whats the stop it from being cloudy? Or rain for a week straight? Greenhouse over everything YES. outdoor over indoor i think not.

But ill be doing a side by side with shiva skunk in 100 gallon Containers outdoor verses indoor with 80 degrees temp 44-55% humiditt and 900-1200ppms co2 during day. Same nutrients same mothers.

Good point about the co2. But no matter how much co2 you add a plant cannot increase potency past its genetic threshold. In my opinion an experienced outdoor grower will not have a problem pushing potency as far as it can go without that added co2 boost.

Cloud cover barely diminishes the suns power. And this thread is about potency. Plant doesn't need 16+ hours of strong sunlight to flower correctly. The ten hours of direct sunlight it does get will be more than enough. And any experienced grower will plant in an optimized area facing south or southeast so that they can harness the power of the sun.

Any experienced grower will know how to protect their crops from rain and the elements.

You're right. An indoor grow, all conditions perfect, should be able to grow the more potent plant. But again every plant has a genetic threshold. You can't make a plants thc percentage higher than its genetics will allow. And again its my opinion that an experienced outdoor grower will have no problem pushing their plants to the genetic threshold. Especially if they live in the right climate.

So I guess really its more about the growers dedication then the method used. That being said op was speaking in general terms. And on average indoor potency is not superior to outdoor potency (in my opinion).

If I could let me say this toppic is a good one to discuss ..I have some clients that preferred outdoor over indoor and then it goes in reverse for those that prefer nothing but hydro and deep water bubble systems and I do both..now before I say what I am going to say let me also say no I have not scientifically tested any of my pot probably. Never will so this is simply my and my experience..

To me there is a difference in the means and ways you grow I prefer to grow deep water bubbles over any thing else last year my crew grew the same strain and clone cuts indoors and out of strawberry deisel and cookies from a real clone.only strain that has been around for some years now and let me say this thus quality in my opinion was on the side of the indoors not by some huge amount but noticeably groom bag appeal to smell to taste and ease of smoke this is not to say that the outdoor was not good that would be a lie it was fire for sure just not like the other..I guess what I am saying is I wish someone would do a outdoor grow. Using a large hydro or deep water bubble system and see what that would be like the sun meets hydro wow sounds like it would be great..

I was thinking of doing 50gallon DWC vs 100 gallon soil outdoor. Greenhouse though with several 100 watt supplimental lights to get full veg times. Here in michigan we dont get a lot of veg time outdoor, basically 3/4 of the year is flowering. i figure with each one ill be shooting for 2-3lbs given i can harvest 1-1.5lbs indoor with 40-60 gallons of dirt on average.

Who cares bro's, indoor out door. We have all had bomb shit indoor and outdoor. Ilive in nor Cal and theres out door that will put you down for the count, and theres the same indoor that will put you down for the count. Chem tasting hydro to non chem outdoor, bull shit. This all has to do with growing experience. Its all good weed if you smoke the right persons stash.

I would love to have a seat at that concert and that's my point in my post if you take the best light sourse and put it with the best growing system I believe and I don't think you can go wrong..

Sun plus hydro or deep water bubble phonics...may just produce some super cannabis...
I have witnessed almost that. Someone built a "raft" and floated it in the swamp under the sun. The roots grew down into the slowly moving water. No soil. Legendary bud.

I am still a noob!! That being said, are we comparing potential of indoor and outdoor? Because i would think the extra c02 and the perfect dialed spot on indoor environment at full spectrum including UVB would be some type of steroid flowers in my opinion. But i wouldnt know, never tried both.

Now I see why you think indoor is better than outdoor....YOU LIVE IN MICHIGAN, not an optimal outdoor growing region. Come to California son, I'll match my outdoor with your indoor any day of the week. Nothing compares to the sun son. Nothing compares to a properly prepared and maintained organic grow in a south facing garden in the California sun using artesian waters......nothing! Michigan outdoor...LMAO.
