I'm not gonna cover until the next frost. it's too hard to cover during wind/rain storms, and besides the buds survive those just fine if you shake em off and it's not getting BLASTED hardcore.
edit: yes hgg it was hella bad . .. . it was so windy I had to cover up the sides of my garden so the winds wouldn't snap the branches, after I got that done it rained.....
luckilly it stopped raining shortly after I shook them off (9PM)
well it was still raning after I shook em off but so lightly that it dried off from all the wind we get up here. so by the time I went uotside my plants were almost dry!
