Ok, i moved my 3 white rhinos (indica dom.) outside in late July, they were about 6 inches tall at the time, and as of today (Sep 13, 2011) there are NO SIGNS OF SEX, we are currently at a photo period of 12 hours 34 mins light, 11 hours 26 mins dark, i am in the Tennessee Valley, all my buddies crops are at LEAST 2-3 weeks into flowering, and mine are still vegging, any ideas? will i have time to pul,l of a harvest b4 the first frost hits? (late November usually) we are out in the country so there are no street lights or anything that would cause budding probs....HEEEEEEEEEELP MEEEEEEEEEE!

Tn. valley here as well but all my strains were pretty far along by the end of July, some indicas had already gone into flower (chopped as of now) with the sativas following close behind. Can you be more descriptive on your growing environment? Are they getting adequate, strong sunlight? I've seen some grows that were in shady areas that were ponderously slow about showing sex.

They are getting l;ight for AT LEAST 95-99% of the day, could it have something to do with me not even putting them out till the end of July? u think ill have time for them to flower by late(ish) Nov.?

to the others, ONLY 1 tablespoon of un-sulfured molasses per gallon of water(ph'ed at 6.3)

A very late start indeed. This is probably the main cause but, they should be showing something very soon regardless of strain, especially with the indica dom of that strain. If they haven't showed the early stages of pre-flowers by say this weekend I would say it is unlikely they will see maturity by the first frost. If you are lucky, and if the first frost doesn't arrive before the 2nd week of Nov. (rare) you might see a modest harvest of undeveloped buds. It's always a roll-of-the-dice with late starts. I generally try to have any of my strains up to at least 12-14" tall by the last week of April for a early May install. At that point, there is ample day-length to prevent early flowering/reveg. that typically stunts plants. Good luck with it though.
