I have two plants outdoor and they just started to flower 6days ago; one is a purple ukle and the other is some random sativa both lookin beautiful and healthy up till some time today. The fresh flowering pistils started to turn red kinda like hairs but I know this can't be a good thing just six days after they have started their flowering process, but I don't know What to do about it or what the cause might be. If anyone could help and give me some insite, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

i am having the same problem outdoor, i am about 2 1/2 weeks into flower and some leaves are yellowing, and pistils are darkening. im having trouble finding an answer anywhere

Pistils turn orange/red when they are mature. Also they turn colors when they are touched (like by ur finger).

This is normal. I got three plants 9 days into flowering with tons of sets of white hairs and the oldest ones turn red/orange first.

Same here 4 1/2 weeks in alot look like they are brown/orange. Like it's mature an I know that can't be.

Are they drying or just turning red? You may want some light shade. How hot is it?

they dont seem to be drying, just darkening. its too hot. about 100 average, but its sort of covered, so it doesnt get too much dirrect light, just a few hours. it was equally as hot towards the end of veg, and it seemed fine...

Haven't been on for a while, sorry such a late reply, but my problem with the pistils was that I wasn't getting enough water to them. If you're still having trouble this should help.
