I agree 100%, flush for two weeks outdoor, (a little less if your useing a pot) defantly don't use the molasses the last week of flush , but maybe the first three days if you really want to feed them, but i really think you should flush them with RO and you will have great tasting buds. good luckmollasses has calcium, magnesium, and other macro nutrients that do not flush out very easily. I have heard alot of people say flush with mollasses, but I think you have to be careful there. I would use only clean pure water....you can't go wrong.

Rain water would be your best bet if you don't have a RO machine. It is the best the investment you can buy to have great tasting bud. If you look at any decent growers setup they have a RO machine. I didn't for my first grow and had lockout problems and high ph. I bought the RO machine and no problems, just have to had some cal mag(not during flush). hope this helps good luckhow can i get reverse osmosis water? i dont have a reverse osmosis machine lol
Would boiled water or rain water be ok?
So, by sweetener you mean sugar? (brown sugar or white sugar?) And mine are only a few weeks old so should i add sugar to the water, stir it up then feed?I would just use fresh water.
At most I would use a 5% nute solution.
You are trying to leach out the micro and macro nute's that are still in your root mass and unused in the plant itself.
Fresh water doesn't grab the nutes as well as a 5% solution.
That said.
I would not use Vanilla extract in any cannabis cultivation, and sweetener is usually used in the start weeks up to the late mid week. At least IMHO.
Rain water would be very good for your plants if you are feeding and watering with the intent on keeping them alive, healthy, and happy.
When you are flushing your plant your intent is harvest. So you are not as worried about PH and other factors that are important when you are raising your cannabis.
RO is a good idea no matter what cycle you are in.
Ok so, They are all in pots, they are all under a month old (seedlings) I havent given them any nutrients or addatives except a little bit of sugar once. I would like to go all organic althought i dont rele kno how lol. what sort of 5% nute solution would you recomend using and also how do you use it? you juse use it like you would flush the plant? just with a 5% nute solution instead? When I say " a 5% solution I mean just that. "
You are outdoor, are you Organic?
If not, you are using salt nutrients.
If you are, you will need to flush for 10 to 14 days. When time comes to do that.
If you are Organic, then you are aware of the discussion about whether or not to flush Organic's?
I always flush everything that is going to be consumed by human's.( indoor and outdoor )
I don't want anyone to consume a nutrient that they did not need to.
So, What nutrients are you using?
Reverse Osmosis machines are usually found at either a hydro store, or a water purification store. The kind of place that would have water filters, water softeners.
They cost between 2 and 5 hundred dollars. I do not consider that expensive considering what it gives to you!!
You are still veggin', correct?
When you say " Mine are only a few weeks old so should I add sugar to the water, stir it up the feed? "
Do you mean that your plants are weeks old and in the ground? Or
Do you mean that your plants are weeks old into flower and you are ready to consider flushing?
If you are in Veg I would not add much sugar at all. I have found Sugar is for Flowering.
When I say sweetener I mean that. Like
Botanicare's Sweet
Technaflora's Sugardaddy
Some people use sugar or molasis.
I am just learning Organics, but am some what learned with indoor and salt nute's.
You will do good to ask around here, there are alot of very wise individual's on this forum.
Grow Well.

big hole or big pots no need for flushing.. soil and dirt are a natural bufferI was wondering if somone would be kind enough to give me a sorta, step by step as to how an ourdoor flush would happen. Do you just dump litres and litres of clean water in the soil? Any way , feed back of any sort is much appreciated.
mine never do.i will feed up to the last few days of harvestYea but i am going to flush regardless, just because then you know for sure your buds will taste good. Thats the last thing i want is to do all this hard work then harvest and my buds taste like chemicals or some shit you kno? so ya i am flushing every so often to keep buds at there prime.
