Hi there people I have started a little back garden grow this year in the uk. hoping to get a good enough result for a little quality outdoor smoke :joint::mrgreen:

I am growing Western Winds from sagarmatha seeds and bubblegummer which was a freebie not sure from which strain bank.

they are basically in there 6 7 week of growing and they are on there 6 7 node and looking nice and healthy.

I have already transplanted once and they are using the ferts which are in my biobizz soil.

I also used superthrive for the first time. I was told to use it every other watering. Is this good?

today I sprayed them with my organic pest control called neem repel due to me spotting some little black flys and white ones on the plant.

weather is looking good for the next few days so will send some new pics in a couple days time to see what u lot think.

I was wondering if anyone had any good advice on topping fimming or lsting any of my plants? and should i do it to any of them?

my guess is to top 1 western winds and the 1 bubblegummer to get more yeild from them

but I'm curious to see 1 of my western winds go the hole way with one main cola but not sure if that's a good move due to how big sativas can get.

anyway ill leave you with the pics now so enjoy and please follow my thread till harvest and smoke report.

ps: I had a friend grow western wind indoors before and it was the best smoke I'de ever smoke from looks to smell to high everything was top notch.

so I am hoping for similar results if even better with it being outdoor.

Thank you for your time

IMO...

try the tests yourself... use the same strains and see which one you prefer..
this will be my 4th grow and I am just now getting around to testing yields myself with LST-SCROG and Super cropping..

(none of mine have been intentionally topped)

(click on the link under my sig to see them...)

Welcome to RIU as well.

Hi everyone Fesh Update for you lot.

been having some lovely weather all week some days hitting 30 degrees and more, so the babies have been sucking it all up.

the Training Methods I have used seem to be working well.

I have a few problems i need help with.

the plant i super cropped with has grown and extra 2 nodes now should i super crop the stem a bit higher now?

The western wind that I am Lst,ing has got loads of shoots now should i start tying them them also. and should i tie the main top around the pot so i grows in a circular motion?

also I have been using the bug spray which has finally worked on the 2nd spray. Im worried because when I am spraying the plant some of the extract is dropping down into my soil.

the plants still look healthy but wondering if this well effect the plants in the long run?

also i posted a picture of my fertiliser on my first post that I am going to use for vegging was wondering if it is the right one.

its called bio grow by bio buzz and the nph is 4.0 3.0 6.0

and when shall i start using it? my soil had nutrients in it for the first few weeks of veg and my plants are still looking healthy so should i leave the fert for later on?

Heres some pics on the progress enjoy and thank you for all your help.

Another Update For you people.

Just feed them for the first time. with my bio bizz fert and a little bit of superthrive

all plants are looking healthy except i have something eating my lst plant. wonder if anyone knows how i can get rid of this problem?.

and also the plant i super cropped is wilting quite a lot. never the less all still looking quiet good.

I am probably going to transplant tomorrow or wednesday so will post pics up next week at the latest.

if anyone can give me an advice on the questions i asked in my early post would really appreciate it.

ps: the plant i supercropped is showing the female pistols if you check the close up pics i took.

Enjoy ;-)

update pics by monday thanks people.

Ps : what do you lot think about transplanting one more time while the plants are in flower?

I heard its no good to stress the plants out through the flowering period.

Hey there big update here bubblegummer is proper blossoming nice> loads of purple buds full of trichs. and harvested a spliff of it and quick dry through the microwave. for that being done the weed was still very strong and high so im happy with what the product will become once properly driend and cured ;).
western winds and quiet a bit behind with the budding process, but this is only natural due to the strain being more of a sativa dominate plant.
anyway enjoy the pics and soon will have the harvest pics of bubblegummer probably around start of october. 1 LOVE:eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke:
