So does this look like normal bud growth for outdoors? I first noticed hairs about 5 weeks, so according to the flowering period of the strain seed I bought, they should be ready in 3 to 5 more weeks. Does that look about right? It sure seems like they will have to pack on a lot more bud within that 5 weeks. Oh, here are the pictures.

mine look about how yours does. i saw white hairs about 6 weeks ago, but I didnt start counting til last week when they actually started looking like a tiny bud. so I'm counting mine as going on week 2

I've seen some strains require 10-12 weeks. If they started showing signs of flowering 5 weeks ago, then you def have an early flowering strain. I have some Mazar's outside that aren't even flowering, but right next to it you will see my White Widow starting to develop flowers.
My recommendation would be to let this strain run 10 weeks, or more if it will allow you (you check this by looking at trichome structure/color through a magnifying glass). It should def gain a good bit of weight in the final weeks, as that's the most rapid part of the flower phase.
Have they been fed properly? What is your feed schedule? Nutrients used? PPM/PH levels? I don't see any nutrient deficencies that are obvious in the pics you posted, but if you are not feeding them the proper dose of carbs, I would at the very least add some organic molasses to your feed so that they will have that extra energy boost for bigger yields and more trichome production.

Yours is at the same stage as my White Widow. Supposed to finish Mid October. My Mazars are prob just going thru preflower right now. I don't expect them to show bud development til first or second week of Sept, and they will need to go til end of Oct-first week of Nov just to finish.
Every strain is different in this regard!

Just depends on the strain and amount of light they get. Hard to really say but they look fine to me
Yea, this is THC Bomb seeds. I also have some white rhino, hawaian queen, and super skunk. The super skunk has been flowering almost as long as my THC Bomb, but they haven't formed any buds at all. Just a lot of hairs. That probably won't finish until mid october. The hawaian queen and white rhino aren't going to get to bud at all before winter so I may make them into hash, butter, and oil. I'll post my final first grow journal after it's all cured and I can stick some numbers in. I have been taking pictures of them all along so I should have a great report.
