As posted, 3 or 4 more weeks (bring 'em in at night if you can, or tent them if you can't). Buds swell up during their last weeks and that's also when most of the trichomes mature. So pick em early and you will miss their potential potency. Thanks for the quick reply!! How much longer do you think they need? The clima soon turns cold where I live so I'd really like to harvest them soon if its possible. I don't really understand what you said about the pistils though..
is there anyway you can bring them in? are they in pots? if not in the past I've built mini greenhouse over mine using those pound in metal fence posts and draping 4mil plastic over them. Then I placed lots of fresh compost around the plants to give off heat. What I did was pound in 4 metal posts around the plant them strung wire around them high enough to clear the plants them draped the plastic over the wire making a cozy little greenhouse for the plant. Watch closely because it can get so warm in there with the compost heating action and will form condensation which in return could cause mold. Make a vent to solve this.Anyone know if they can survive if its freeeeezingg?
