I was walking through the woods, and happened to spot some prime real estate. So my question is, is it to late to plant a few? I already have the seeds, soil, etc I could have them in the ground within two days. If it is still possible to plant, could I still pull an O per plant? Any help is greatly appreciated, + rep

See I don't know, you could certainly try and maybe get a zip each. I always thought flowering didn't start til mid august, but I have a few flowering now, aswell as a few others who have some flowering already..

I think its to late to start from seed. it wont b worth the time. just get some nice size ladies from a friend. & if plants are flowering now its because they are not gettin full sun or u are usein a greenhouse... if plants are flowering now then they are in a really bad spot.

Im not looking for some massive yield. If I could get 4 ounces off 10 plants I would be satisfied. Im just looking for a little personal smoke.

Nah they are in the open. They are in a wonderful spot in a wide open clearing on top of a hill. It's just apparently an early year this year. I've heard from a handful of other growers that they have plants flowering early as well. It has to do with the decrease in time.

And I'm partly in agreeince that it could be a waste, and you may only get a couple ounces off a few plants, but if you've never done it before, the experience is certainly worth it. I'd just use some bagseed though.

If this is what you're going for than I don't see why you couldn't. You can 100% still start plants now. It will just be easily 50%+ less than what you would have gotten had you started indoors 3-4 months ago, or outside at the start of june.

I've grown indoors plenty of times, never outdoors. I also heard that growers are flowering earlier this year for some reason, but from what I seen its happening mostly to growers on the west coast. I live on the east coast if that makes any difference. The spot I have picked out has full sunlight, plus the seeds I have (THC bomb) it supposed to be a heavy producer.

If you're planning on germinating directly into the ground, it's too late. Soil temps during daytime are too hot this time of year.

I live on the east coast. The highest temp in the 7 day forecat is only 83 degrees.
Has nothing to do with air temp, the high sun angle heats up top few inches of soil above the air temp.

Plus you'll have to make daily trips to keep them moist, if they even germinate.

I would start them indoors, it's faster and more efficient.

I'll take that into consideration, thank you.

Dont do it, I am on the east coast and EVERYONE of my girls are showing hairs and or flowering. It will be a waste of your seed to start now.
