outdoor irrigation

So i'll have 12 outdoor in 45gal smarts, 6 of them are 7 weeks into veg already and in 15gal smarts for the next 10-11 weeks, the other 6 are looking good in the cloner and i may end up putting them in 30gals just to save on the dirt, as i don't believe they'll need the 45gal. this is my 2nd outdoor grow and my first getting this long of a headstart on my veg. Do you guys think 45gal pots will be large enough for the 6 vegging already, they'll have almost 6 months, and i'm wanting to set up an irrigation for them. Last year in my 20gal pots i was using gallon jugs and just giving 3-4 gallons at a time and it was taking FOREVER, they'll need at least 2x the water and food this season and i AM NOT doing it single gallons at a time again:wall: so any suggestions on good emitters, how many should i use a pot, gravity feed maybe? anyone have any experience using a rain catch and gravity feeds, how do you keep your basin cool. i looked for some threads on here, albeit not very long(2-3 pages deep), and didn't find what i was looking for. Any journals or diy links would be much appreciated guys!
