Good thread. When flowering I might use MG bloom and molasses. I do have Flora bloom Flower but it is pretty low. I think it is 5 7 8. not sure unless I go look at the bottle. :joint:

add DOLOMITE LIME if you dont PH your Miracle Gro.
Miracle gro is highly acidic, it needs balancing with a ph kit, or add dolomite lime to your dirt mix at 1 cup per cubic foot.
an alternative to Dolomite is Crushed Oyster Shell, its available at any animal food store in big food sacks, we buy it for the chickens, and the garden.
Oyster shell is slower releasing then Dolo.

I used MG 6month soil and MG feed. I have never PH'd anything or used lime in the soil. I haven't had any problems to speak of. Doesn't mean I cant though and I'm not saying by any means your statements are wrong. Just saying I haven't done any of that stuff on a count of I don't know enough or want to make things to difficult. One thing I think Is the Nutients in 6 month soil don't last 6 months.:leaf:

Thanks for the comps! I'm not here to promote or bag on MG. We used the soil and feed and seems to be working. It's what we could afford and it was easily available. MG is stepping into the MJ bussiness. You will be able to get MG MJ specific supplies at your local hardware store instead of a expensive hydro store. :leaf:

Hey again just thought i would update and throw up some pics of how the plants are progressing. Mind as well make this a little journal to show how the MG is working out for me. Well these new pictures were taken yesterday and the plant still is looking healthy, no problems so far. :) Probably going to be picking up some flowering nutes and that molasses within the next week or so. When is it normal for plants to start flowering outdoors? I was thinking around the begining to middle of august, is this correct?

I live in Ontario and have been told that in early to mid august is when they start depending on the strain.

here are a few pics of my grow using only MG. Its my first and the plants were nute burnt at the beginning over watered and root bound. I switched them 3 times into different size pots before putting them in the ground. But they bounced back and look at them grow!

Cool thats what i thought. Your plants look nice and healthy, what strain/s you growing? I just got a bagseed so i dont really know when it is supposed to finish. Last year it frosted before they were ready so hopefully i will have some more luck this year.

I have 2 plants of each and they are as follows. Channel +, Afgani, blackjack, and ak-48. I bought my seeds late and had slim pickings from the top names but these should be fine when harvest comes. It depends on how things go crop yield wise this year on what i use to grow next year. but I dont think i will be spending the hundreds of dollars advanced nutrients shit costs unless it doubles what i get compared to MG. for 8.99 you CANT go wrong. And yes there probably is better but really how much better based on facts not i know a guy who grew 9000lbs with this formula so MG sucks, Personally i dont think there will be much of a difference compared to MG but when you brake it down all it has to do i produce an extra oz and you break even but whatever 8.99 way better price.

BTW very general question but what kind of yield will i be looking at when its all dried and ready to sell? like i said its 8 plants.

The plants are about 3 months or just under from harvest.

what is flushing?

What is a good weekly schedule? 1 day water. 2. rest.......etc. Do you know of any good methods you use?

One other thing about using molasses, it raised my ph of my indoor grow (made it more alkaline) so bad that it burned my plants. There have been
some different reports on the use of molasses. I would just suggest testing the first batch of water with the molasses in it to establish
a baseline and test every few times to make sure there are no fluctuations...

Can you make your own threads please? You keep asking random shit on my thread and its getting annoying. You have been around long enough to know not to thread jack.

i found some fertilizer at the store with a rating of 12 - 55 - 6 its called Green Light super bloom. first has anyone tried this? also my main question.. is that too high of a potassium level? i know its great for flowering but is it too much? Thanks.
