outdoor odor control

I would like to grow 1 to 3 plants outside on my balcony but im concerd about my neighbors smelling thems. I have been looking for a while now but havent found anything about odor control for outdoor growing. The ways I have heard however are

carbon filters which i dont see how that could work outdoors.

dryer sheets im thinking maybe I can hang those up around my plant.

candles would they be of any use puting some around the base of my plant.

and possibly just speding some carbon peices on the ground around the plant.

Does anyone know if any of these methods would work or of any other methods that would be able to prevent my nextdoor neighbors from smelling it considering I live in the average middle class suberb house with houses close together.

I don't think any of those ideas will work, well enough at least. Some dude did pinesol in a homemade waterfall...

plant some mint and basil and other plants that smell...there u go problem solved

I've heard of a person putting pinesol in a bucket with water, then adding an airstone with an air pump. could work, although maybe not.

Planting other highly smelling plants is a great idea. Go with what KushKing said. Hibiscus works well for that kinda thing too.

Generally speaking though, people really don't have a problem with smell outdoors, unless your neighbors are really close, at which point you are better off not growing in your backyard anyway.

Want to piss your neighbors off, engulf them with pine sol. Get your wife, or some Fairy to go to the local Nursery and get high fragrant vines, like sweet peas, etc. Garlic is good, mint. Orange oil would be great. "It's used as ant killer & house cleaning" is the excuse, which is true.

Outdoor odor control is best performed by nature's own air filters - plants.

I plant catnip and basil in my indoor closet to help with odor control.

Citronella plants outdoors would help out quite a bit, plus help repel insects.

yeah plant some other herbs like basil and shit... get a low odour strain, maybe try an autoflowernig dwarf like LR2, which is supposedly low odour.
