Outdoor plant bug problem (pics)

I have a cheese clone outdoors growing really well, everyday I go to it there's little black flys in between the nodes not loads 1 or 2 but I think I seen eggs next to one of them what are they don't think ther gnats ? Just starting to flower so don't want any of these near my plant
An ideas ?

There's only been a few on there took them off daily, no haven't tried neem oil, is that ok to use in flower 1 week in? Also will it keep them away ?

You can use pesticide up till they start to show flowers. If you have little black soft shelled bugs in between and down in the nodes... You might want to research thrips and see if thats what you have. The only thing I know for sure that kills thrips is Monterrey Garden Insect Spray. Note: thrips have many life stages (larvae, flyers then black soft shell bug with tan stripes) they are hard to see and find, they run like cockroaches when they see ya coming They will suck your plants dry in a couple weeks, IF thats what you have

I use lady bugs and once you get how they react once released they are very effective. Although I am not sure if they will be effective with those bugs you have if they fly? Have you looked into companion plants....? Plants that you grow with your ladies to prevent insects. I have used Chamomile, Basil, Mint, Chives, Garlic and a few others and it seems to help. Some of the insect repelling plants I mentioned may increase aroma of your buds as well. I am just getting into researching companion plants for increasing quality flowering so still fairly new to the idea. And it may be too late to plant your own pest repelling plants, but there should be some at gardening stores ready to go and on the cheap. You may try gnat sticky pads and preying mantis. Looks like aphids with wings maybe. Stop spraying neem when buds are the size of a dime on most of the plant. If your infestation isnt bad, then dish soap with water will kill the aphids. I just blast my plants with plain water and the aphids die from the strong stream of water.

I went today too and had a good look over are these the soft shell bugs with tan stripes ? Are these thirps? Iam going to get something tomorrow any suggestions on which is best for 1.5 weeks into flower

Those look awfully big for thrips, but look very similar. Its getting harder to identify bugs because everyones growing all over the world now. Get some monterray garden insect spray and use it yesterday. Power spray (not too powerful) those buds first and the whole plant , let dry and then use the MGI spray. Your plants will probably flourish anyways because they are outside, but you dont want these guys hanging around year after year...they hide in the soil and wait around till the time is right. Also spray your pots, soil and area around plants as far out as you can go. repeat in a few days provided they look ok from 1st treatment. good luck

The black ones are a lot smaller than the brown one , I was thinking this is the adult one you was saying I will get some insect spray today.
