I have this 818 Headband that is just over 7 feet. I finally got around to putting a "safety" cage around her to keep the wind from breaking more branches and thought that I would open up the outer canopy and put a grid over the top of the cage and keep shoving the shoots under the wire for the next 3 weeks or so. Any thoughts?

I have a spindly ass Blue Dream (she's a beauty, just slim with exceptionally thin leaves), that I just might try something like this with. She's only about 4 feet now, but growing like a weed 
or more accurately just like weed
