Outdoor seedlings

I live in a moderate climate, nothing crazy hot like Nevada etc

I’ve never had issues leaving seedlings under the sun all day. I find the sun doesn’t burn them like a grow light can if too close

The wind can be a bigger concern to new seedlings being introduced to the outdoors, if you live in a windy climate.

Some seedlings love full light right from the start, others will bleach & die from too much direct light.
Dappled/ambient light is best to start a seedling. You can increase the light if they start to stretch.

If you have lots of seeds, start outside next spring. You'll lose a bunch but the ones that survive will be big & strong.

Good luck
