Outdoor smell radius?

Quick fix.
Not fool proof.
Not neccesary in the road but in a bush somewhere that would take a while to find.
Any better ideas angus?

think it's fair to say that most people refer the smell of MJ to skunks, so that being true, anyone who does get a whiff of your garden will probably just think it's a skunk in the area anyways. and I don't think anyone should really start worrying until flowering is in full force as that's when the odor's most potent. lol that'd be damn funny though every time a skunk you put out got picked up, then the next day another one was dead in the road

Idk I was watching current and they were smelling gardens from helicopters.. not trying to sketch anyone out. I'm just saying they smelt them before they saw them from the air.

a patch of OG Kush would smell like heaven

I had some Northern Lightrs that had no smell during flower, only started to stink during drying/curing. Too bad I killed the plant, because I plan on growing on my apartment balcony, about 8 feet from each of my neighbors and 25 feet from where my apartment manager parks. I need to find a new Northern Lights somehow

You are probably right, but I'm not so worried about those that don't know what they are smelling as those that do.
BTW, last year I had a small batch of Diesel Ryders outside and often got a whiff from over 100ft away when the wind was right.

Glad i got a little family of skunks and raccoons that run through the neighborhood. My elder neighbors will think the plants are the skunks they see running through the yards or on top of the fence. I notice mine smells more in the night time wind than the day time.

One day my chick made me go for a walk around the neighborhood with her. I caught a whiff and followed it for near a quarter mile through a housing development. I narrowed it down to one of two houses. Who knows how much they had growing in there, but I smelled their INDOOR grow from a few football fields distance away.

Another time me and a co-worker thought we smelled something in the air catching a smoke on lunch. We walked the whole property(5 acres) losing it and catching it again every few minutes. Definitely was not a dead skunk, and we never could figure out what direction it was coming from. I own the place too and know every square inch of it, and can safely say it wasn't growing anywhere on my property.

Now on the other hand, I've never been able to smell my own outdoor grows until I am right on top of the plants. I have grown some stinky strains out there too.

I guess my point is there is no way to predict accurately.
