Outdoor to Indoor

I just received 2 plants from these kids who had no idea what they were doing, they were growing these plants outside in buckets without any drainage and they were using river mud for soil. I decided I would take these plants off their hands just to see what I could do with them. I live in New England so growing outside probably isn't the best idea in the first place but nevertheless I figured that these plants might be able to be saved. I just grabbed these plants out of the woods a few days ago and god damn it was one hell of a hike, we had to carry them up a hill about a quarter mile through the woods to get them to our truck, that was no fun. Since these plants were outside during the beginning of fall they began to flower. We have them back at our new grow that we are in the process of setting up and I put them under a 600 watt HPS light. I am going to get them back to vegetative growth by giving them veg nutes and keeping light on 24 hours, just because I want these things to get more mature indoors with some tender loving care. I made the very risky decision about transplanting them into better pots with legitimate drainage and canna soil and it has only been about a day but so far so good. I am hoping that these things will end up looking a bit better and hopefully produce more shoots. What do you think? If I send these back to vegetative growth do you think they will grow out and become some nice looking plants? I think that my options are limited to either growing more in veg then flowering or growing more in veg then cloning. Any advice?

Those plants are a lost cause. Scrap them immediately and decontaminate the area with a bug bomb and follow up with some bleach wipedown. Also, quit advertising your activities to kids, I guarantee plenty of people now know what you are up to.

Next, do what you have to do to either get some known good genetics or, alternately, start a pheno hunt from whatever seeds you have available.

I didn't mean kids literally, they are actually full grown adults who I have known for years. But yeah I am definitely bout to just scrap these guys, there's no point in wasting any resources on these guys.

Well, then tell the dudes that the plants died, offer them the dried up leaves to smoke, and exclaim that this indoor growing thing is a lot harder than it sounds. The reason I mention decontamination is that outdoor plants will always have some spider mites on them. This isn't usually a problem outdoors as plenty of other insects like to eat the mites. Infected plants brought indoors, however, can quickly be overtaken by them. A few basic precautions against the introduction of spider mites indoors will normally suffice to prevent such problems.

You could take a couple of clones and put them under a CFL for
a month or two. I have not re-Vegged a bud yet, but they explode
once they start to re-grow.

...but a fresh start, with known genetics, would probably be a better
use of your resources.

Hey guys I appreciate all your advice, I scrapped those plants and bug bombed now I am goin through and disinfecting everything. Now I just need to get some good genetics to get this room up and goin.
