Outdoor Watering System

Hey,

Is there any type of watering system that can be installed outside, where a drip system or some type of watering system can be directed with tubing to my plants. Is there some type of system that can take water through a river or some type of body of water to do this?

In dire need of help please everyone.

I read about someone using a car battery to make a sort of pump mechanism .. that was a little to sophisticated for me ..

What i would do however is set up a tarp to collect water, pick dark green to blend for example .. then i would fix a hose to the bottom of the tarp with a drip system going to your plants, you could just have the one if you have a few or sultiple depending on the size of your grow .. This way would work if you have a good amount of rainfall every week or so to top up the container with water ( your tarp )

Can't I just have a resivour higher than the plant's for a no electricity drip system?

howdy, about a out watering system. not sure how far out doors you mean. mine are out the back door. if you have power you might try mother earth news . in there classifieds the have 3 or 4 places that have systems for out door vegtables. pots, hoses,tubing, pumps, containers and hole systems

Attach a drill to it, or if you don't mind, rev. it yourself, doesn't keep you from having to visit, but keeps you from having to haul.
