There is still plenty of time to plant outdoors. The plants won't have as much time to veg, but you could still have a nice successful grow still. Also, there is always the option of autoflowering strains, and more recent ones produce much more a yield.

I don't fully understand how you are "collecting seeds" for 10 months. You could buy feminized seeds with great genetics anytime you want online. If anything you should be saving your money until May.

spend all winter lookin for spots.
start your ladies indoors in feb so you can presex em, get holes dug an dirt mixed for em.
Plant em outside in late april or early may,
Take clones of em befor puting outdoors, in case they are eaten you can replace it.

I use 1/4 in square wire cages cause the animals, lost 100% this year till i figured out how to make a good cage.

Heres a vid of how i do it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XltdsqllVlY

Well i figured there wasnt enough time to still grow them this year. I collect them from what i buy. im getting some purple haze soon so ill take those seeds. And my friends buying a 1/2 oz of afghan soon. Im going to take those seeds .If there is still time this year then i wont have to save them for next year. And whats your take on this, should i make them sprout first or just plant them as seeds as is?After i plant them what exactly should i need to be doing on a regular basis?

Hell yeah, get you thumb green by trying it with some of those bagseeds, theres no time like the present!
First grow teach you alot.

Realy the best source for info is books the more you read the better it will grow, I think Mel franks are the best! Hes a NINJA. But i haven read many newer ones.
youtube has Gogre Cervantes how to grow an many other good videos.

I would start em in doors for a few weeks an harden up to the outside by giving em a little more light each day.
Use big pot s so they wont need to be watered as much, mulch helps helps keep water in the ground also.
Dont over water, they cant live in mud its got to be kinda dry befor watering again.
NO fertilizers for about 2-3 weeks, start with 1/4 strenght an work up every week.

Since you think i should start them in a pot should i fill the pot with the dirt form where im going to plant them outside? and for the first few weeks before i transfer them how much water and can i put them outside in the sun in there pots all day?

I would fill the pot with a seedling starting soil. Or just a mixture of Peat Moss and Perlite. Make sure you germinate the seeds first! It would be ok to put them outside in the sun in the pots all day just be sure to protect them from animals and bugs because when they are first starting off the seedlings are extremely fragile. Although, it would be a good idea to take them in when you know that their is going to be harsh weather in the near future that could destroy them.

A lot of newbs come to this kind of forum expecting to be hand fed step by step directions. They're wasting everyone's time, including their own.

Please spend $20 on a grow guide. I like Jorge Cervantes because his stuff is very current. Once you've read such a book, you'll know enough to ask questions about problems, instead of what dirt to use.

Some of my grow books date back to the early 70's.

Things have changed a lot in 40 years.

Best of luck!
