Hello everyone, this I my very first grow of dark devil auto by sweet seeds, this is the 10th day since I started germination (Monday 15/3), I did this through the paper towel method, I let the seeds get a 2.5-3 cm taproot and planted them into 11L pots with light soil mix by monkey soil. Temps have been steady around 23 Celsius and RH of 40% with a 150W LED light 70 cm above the plants and a small fan. Germination was done with pure distilled water, pre soaked the soil with 6.4 pH water and watered two days after planting (Thursday 18/3) with 25 ml of pure water each, 2 days later (Saturday 20/3) another 25 ml but with top crop deeper underground fertilizer. 2 days later (Monday 22/3) another 50 ml of pure water each and finally yesterday (Wednesday 24/3) 100 ml of pure water each. All watering was done with water 6.4 pH.

All four seedlings are quite different, and all seem to be curling downwards, I have read a lot about overwatering plants and I'm afraid that is what I have done. Any recommendations on my watering practices? Do any of you see any problems with my seedlings?

Thank you all!

Doesn't seem like you're giving way too much, but at this stage I'm still watering with a spray bottle...

The soil around the stalk appears to be wet. It's advisable to water in a circle around seedlings so as to encourage outward root growth, prevent damping off and prevent overwatering. To be clear this means literally wetting a circle of soil around the plant rather than watering out from the stalk.

My current seedlings are 70cm under a 250w LED which is turned down to 65w. Your environment is different, but looking at the short height and yellowing, maybe lower the light level a bit.

Humidity and temps are both a little low. If you can raise them a bit it would help, but to be fair that's probably not your issue.

Youre over complicating it, 25mls here 25mls there a lil of this a lil of that lol.

This is the instruction for healthy young plants.

Plant them in a good potting mix designed for seedlings.

Thoroughly water the pot until saturated and dripping from the drainage.

Leave it under lights.. do not feed seedlings. Do not water again until you can.lift the pot and decide the soil is nearly dry.

Boom, there you go

In fact after a few weeks ,still no feeding, you can transplant into a larger pot into some stronger pre ferted soil and repeat.

Generally you will not have to feed them at all until the stretching phase of flowering , where the plant is producing a lot of rapid new growth, then start adding a N based grow fert and some cal mag . Then when you see buds switch to a flower fert.

Its simple once you get it

You shouldn't be adding fertilizer to any plants that young. Gonna mess up their roots.
