Overwatering right?

Afternoon all,

Just transplanted my Cali Hash & Blue Widow into bigger pots and now the first set of leaves have turned yellow very quickly as you can see on the pics.

I'm thinking overwatering perhaps?

I'd say more overfertilized.. Give your plant water once the first 1/2 inch of top soil becomes dry.

What kind of soil are you using, is it just base soil or is it mixed with nutrients you added? If it's just a base, I wouldn't sweat it, they'll snap right out of it at that age and learn to acclimate to their new home.
 
At the size they are now, I'm assuming 4 weeks or so, you don't need to fertilize. Most base soils contain enough nutrients to get them through a month.

In my opinion you fed too soon.. My seedlings don't get anything until they are in their 2nd container. Usually about 4-5 weeks from pop on a 18/6. Just let them be for a couple days checking on moisture. Then nothing but straight water till the yellowing goes away.

Just my opinion.
 
If the soil is too damp then it can't absorb nutes. This is why it will start to look pale. Let the pot become air light before watering again.
 
That's the one thing I'm not doing and I know I should. Will have a look around for a ph tester.
Never had this issue last year, I grew without testing ph levels and plant turned out to be a beauty. The more I read in these forums the more panicky I get!
I've seen the ph levels the water should be from various posts on here, but my question is, is it expensive to fix? I'm not exactly loaded.

Your plants are fine dude its normal for lower leaves (especially single-bladed leaves) to yellow and die at a young age...they have all those wonderful green leaves to get them by now and therefore don't need the smaller ones anymore

If I would say you should feed soon...how old are they?
 
If you are using city water and in soil, i wouldnt waste my time to ph, it is fine and you might do more damage than good if you mess with it.
 
does leaving the water out for 24+ hours take all the shit out for human consumption AND level the ph to 6.5-7ish. i have ph strips and i cant tell a jack for shit on the meter chart lol

pH is important, but as long as its in the general range, its not a big deal. i havent checked my pH in years. just knowing the water outa the tap is close to 7, and my nutrient teas dont usually end up outside the 6.5-7.5 range is fine. the important thing is the soil, good soil will be slightly acidic, and adding in the proper amount of nutrients wont alter it too much.

either way, the eye dropper bottle for fish tanks, from any pet store, 10 bucks.

to the original post, its also the first set of leaves, they might just be dying cuz they are down and not getting much light? could be feeding it too early as well, i dont feed mine til they are well over 1ft tall. could have been a pH issue, or some odd variation of some nutrient, i wouldnt worry too much tho, overall the canopies look fine, as long as you see growth, your good.
