Overwatering?

Alrite my plant has been growing strong with no hitches until today when I came home the leaves were drooped. Me(being an idiot), immediatley gave it about 8 ounces of water. Is my plant going to die now? I'm going to keep a watering chart from now on if it survives

let the soil dry for 3 days and water again these plants are pretty hearty, it should come back good luck

Its not dead til its dead. If the top shoot is still alive, it will be fine with time. The plant is smart enough to keep the most important top shoot on the plant alive in those situations by taking the water from fan leaves to feed it. The roots took the brunt of the damage tho so it will probably need to start over on growing them.

Okay so I check the plant this morning and the plant was looking healthy,strong and not drooping . It realived alot of stress from me. Does this mean it was underwatered before I watered it last night?
