cost me like 2 buks, it dissolves into the water and balances the ph, so im guessin it will work for my dwc?? supposed to use it in aquariums.
oxy shell, oxygenates and balances water ph levels. good for my dwc?

Kinda depends on if the strain your growing is easy going with the general Ph to be within the 5.5-6.5 range, or if its a picky strain. I use to have aquariums so I know what your talking about, it slowly dissolves in the water giving off O2 in the water for a bit...I never used them so I'm not sure how long they last, but 2-4 weeks would be my guess. What does it say it balances the Ph at?

all it says is wat u said it does, oxygenates the water, the it just says it balance's the ph.

Thats in the acidic range bud. Ph ranges from 1-14...pure water is a 7, so I'm thinking they call "balanced" a 7. If thats the case you will have to add Ph-(down) to correct the balance from the shell. Or to save some hassle just get a $10 air pump, a few feet of air line, and push it through the clay pellets, or lava rock your using for a medium in your DWC, so it bubbles O2 into the water, w.o. dic%ing the dog with adjusting Ph levels. If you have multiple plants "T" off the air lines to supply air to all the plants, and add in a little H2O2 to the water, and that will give off its extra O2 molecule, to the roots, and assist with keeping algie at bay.

hmm...i grow soil...i do know that 7 is balanced if that helps...you can use other stuff to lower or raise your ph...lemon juice and baking soda are +/- also just test it out. IF you are trying to get below 7 then i wouldnt use that because it will bring your water to 7 correct?so with this system, the water bubbles onto the roots,thats how you water it?...sorry to hijack your thred yall seem to know what your talkin about.

yea, the roots will grow into the water, and yea the stones just oxygenate the water and shit. i think im supposed to get the water to like 5.5 tho? but yea that stone will take it to 7, thanks for the ph + - thing. stupid stone >: (
