Ozonating water in hydroponic system.

Hello people,

Searched for a while but couldn't find enough info on that subject. Can I use ozonator to enrich water in tank with ozone ?
Some people saying it will not only kill all pathogens and bugs in water but also provide boost in O2 levels.

Any constructive advise ?

i think i asked about that way back when as well..not many people really into ozone..seems to be too much negative hype/rumours about it

dunno if an ozonator makes it or what, but hydrogen peroxide (h2o2, h2o with an extra oxygen attached) has worked great for me, i had a bunch of white slime buildup, still not 100% sure what it is but if i dont use h2o2 within about a week you can notice bits of white slime floating around and within a few more days it coats my res and airstone and roots, and then by adding h2o2 again its crystal clear in a few days again and the slime completely disappears. anyways ya if an ozonator makes h2o2 im sure itd help though ive only ever just used a bottle of 30% h2o2 the rest is just water, not sure what an ozonator would put out
