Ozone Generator - Are They Effective? Are They Dangerous?

the ozone generator you have linked to is a small plugin version safe for household use.

IT WILL NOT COVER THE SMELL OF 6 PLANTS.

If you wanted O3 as a scrubber you can buy inline versions by UVONAIR.

Keeping a window open where your growing is a big NO NO as smell will escape.

You need to exhaust away from your grow through a carbon filter and use the O3 plugin as a backup.

Thanks for the reply

The problem is that I have a very limited budget, don't really want to spend more than £40. Are you sure it won't cover 6 plants if I leave it on 24/7 and keep it very close to the plants?

The UVONAIR looks good but costs £200! Are there any other sultions available at cheaper costs? A fan and carbon filter costs way over £100 and also makes a lot of noise..

If you hang the generator over the plants it should do the job, your plants will not smell that great when cured. It takes a shit load of ozone to make a person sick so don't think you need to worry about that too much.

As mentioned above, it will destroy the smell which is a big selling or enjoyment factor. Look into carbon scrubbing

If you don't have a carbon filter, you are going to need a much larger O3 generator. I use a carbon filter for 3 to 8 plants and still have the Cap 1 for the last month of flowering.

i have a uvonair system and it does the trick. i have it in my exhaust vent to take care of any odors my carbon filter missed. i mainly got it to clean the stinky exhaust air form my portable a/c unit. my only question now, before i turn my a/c unit on is: will the heat harm the uvonair system at all?
