Ozone Use in Plant Cultivation

Hi Everyone, today i'd like to discuss about one thing that recently caught my attention: A friend of mine recently purchased some essential oil solution with stabilized Ozonites, witch are essentially molecules of O3. Oxigen is usually found in nature with the form of O2, two molecules bonded.
The ozonites have been used since a couple years in human medicine, as it works as a "boost" for body oxygenation, revitalizing and anti-aging effecy.
this was a very expensive treatment, usually applied with blood transfusion in special cliniques in switzerland and germany.
Recently some easier/use products (but still costing to me like 90€ for 30 ml of oil) came into the market, as body creams or drops of concentrated oil to take every day with water dilution.
The only documentation i found referred to plants and ozone is about ozone damage in leaves caused by the sun, anything good or funny.
This friend of mine which is doing this kind of treatment for himself, thought about boosting plants with this solution. he made a foliar spray, and i don't know how but just from foliar application his garden ornamental plants really started to thrive and got rid of some undefined parasite infestation (i think he put 1 drop of oil for 1 liter of tap).
I would assume that the best way to do it, would be feeding plants with nutrient solution mixed to ozonites. this would give a massive boost in oxigen uptake and the plant should be freaking appreciating it.. expecially in soil or soilless medium
So, anyone ever heard about some of this stuff?
I think as soon as i get it, i will start experimenting with various methods of application and concentrations to let you know what i find out!

I love ozone and all of its many uses. Rather than buying essential oils that contain ozonide, it's much cheaper to buy an ozone generator and make your own. By owning a generator you (and/or your friend) ..can use the machine to sterilize a grow room and equipment including hydroton, bukets, reservoirs, trays etc. Plants can be sprayed with ozonated water which is probably safer than diluting some ozonated essential oils in water ..although I have no experience with either. However, I have ozonated a gallon of water for 20 minutes at 600 mg/hour and flooded a one gallon ebb and flow system that held a tomato plant. The plant loved it but I suspect that my having done so is no different that adding 10ml of 3% hydrogen perooxide to a gallon of water.

When I was running a small aquaponics set up, I'd occasionally add the air hose/stone from the generator directly into the fish tank in order to freshen it up a bit. Doing so had no ill effects on the fish or the composting worms that lived in the hydroton. I wouldn't dip the air hose/stone directly into a hydro reservoir and run it on a full time basis without using an ORP controller.

Here's some links that I have bookmarked that might shed some light on the subject for you.
