Just to be clear: I flushed her with plain water today. My last watering (which included nutes) was 12 days ago.

In any event, thanks BigRaw. I'm confident she can be chopped pretty much any time now.
Sorry man, you were clear...I mean't if the last time you fed was 12 days ago, I don't think you have ant probs harvesting. Looking forward to the harvest bro. Good Job.

Ah, good. That's what I wanted to hear.

Now I just gotta pick a day. Good thing today was exceptionally warm and dry in SoCal. We've had awesome weather recently. Cheers.

Today was day 70 and I chopped. Got a bunch of pics.

A bit of bad news: I had 2 small worms. Judging by their size they must have hatched within the past day or so. They didn't have a chance to do much damage. I've got a couple of shots where there is browning/dead bud. Not sure if it's a bit of mold or not, but I removed it. Again, not much. Maybe a joint full at the end of the day that got tossed.

But, that forced me to cut it into smaller pieces than I would have liked. And, my camera was giving me trouble today. I was able to hang some of it, and the rest is in a paper bag. I didn't cut the leaves too tight because they are chuck full of trichs and I'm not into making hash, oil, etc.

It smells awesome. Very sticky and gooey.

Well, despite all the bs you went through, it looks good. Real frosty.. Get that shit dry and let me know how it is!

Tomorrow will be 8 wks for me, so it's still got about 2 weeks or so left.

Jesus, looks pretty damn frosty...Let me know when you try it. How does it smell?
Yeah, that's the thing about the "frostiness" of this plant outdoors. It has the ability to obscure any potential issue that might be going on. Simply because it is so frosty. I had little flies getting caught and dying in it. After 3/4 of the way thru, it's impossible to see what's going on inside of it.

The smell: When I chopped, it smelled nice and stinky. Now, during the drying process, the smell is very subdued with the slight vegetative odor. But, this is just the smell from the buds in the paper bag. I still have the bigger buds hanging. They'll probably hang for at least 1 week, maybe longer. Once they go into the curing jars, the smell will start to mature and sweeten. At least that was my experience with the balcony bush plant I harvested.

Thanks for stopping by. Cheers.

Many thanks, terrorizer. I think I'll smoke some of it later on this evening. It's been curing for a week now. A few pics. Maybe a quarter oz.? You can see the buds are pretty loose/airy. Smells nice and fruity/spicy.

Looks good man...What you gonna grow now? Anything inside? I've been looking at all sorts of strains lately and really want to buy more even tho I got shit growing... I usually get like that with everything I do, can't ever finish and want more and more new things. I guess that is what a good hobby is...

After I planted the balcony bush, I thought I would move it indoors. I purchased CFL's but never got any further. I left it outside, and we know how that turned out.

I still have a good variety of all feminized seeds I purchased from attitude, including 2 more Easyryders.

I have a small space in my closet that I can use. I'm just going back and forth if it's worth the hassle. With the amount of room, source of electricity, etc. it will be a major pain in the ass. I've got plenty of weed to last me a long time, so I may just wait until next year and do another outdoor grow.

I did, however, put myself in a position to have a lot of time off this winter, so I may just go ahead and do it. I'll definitely let you know if I take the plunge.

I just checked. Here's what I have one (1) each of:

Barney's Farm, Amnesia Lemon
G13 Labs, Pure Gold
Reserva Privada, Kandy Kush
Nirvana Seeds, Wonder Woman
Green House Seeds, Super Lemon Haze

and the freebies: DINAFEM White Widow, Blue Hash and California Hash.

My original plan was to just do 1 or 2 plants indoors, 12/12 from seed. Pulling out these seeds now has me leaning towards going for it.:bigjoint:

By the way, I just smoked some of the Easyryder. Tasted horrible. It could be because I used a bowl I don't normally use, and it was dirty? It has more curing to go, but it should not taste that bad. My prematurely harvested bagseed crop tasted much better at this stage.

The high was nice, mellow, functional, a bit uplifting, not too stony, but I don't usually smoke a lot at once. Definitely not a couch lock type of high. I didn't smoke out of my water bong because it still had a good amount of GDP in it, and I didn't want to take it out or whatever. I'm really liking this sativa type high compared to the indica I've been smoking lately. I had some White Widow recently, tho, and loved it.

Yeah I would give it some more curing time, ya never know. It would be hard to believe it could be bad, looking that good. Looks like you have a good list of stuff to grow...I think you should start something up..

I have that cali hash plant too, as well as a few pineapple express seeds. I want to do the cali hash with the afghan, but I dont think Ill have enough room..If shes already this big, imagine when she flowers...

Update: The bad flavor was the bowl. It had been sitting inside of a humidor, too.

I just put some more Easyryder into my water bong and it was very smooth. Couldn't really get a decent taste because I'd already smoked and am having a glass of wine. But, it's nice.

Hah, I love that Afhan. It would've been nice to see the finished product by now, but this is getting interesting.

I had no idea what I was doing when I ordered those seeds. Not sure which to try if I decide to go for it. I'll have to go back to the website to see what kind they are, sativa, indica, etc. I'd like to do a sativa dominant. I guess that's what Easyryder is, right?
