I was thinkin about getting one of those small paintball gun co2 tanks and use that for a temporary setup.. What would be the best way to control how much co2 is let out and when?

I have a large tank that is used periodically.
Before you go investing money in co2, what light do you have?
I don't believe co2 would be beneficial in a cfl grow.
Peace
Could you explain why CO2 would not be beneficial in cfl grow?
Just curious.
"If you are growing with cfl's you can't meet the proper lighting requirement"
Are you saying that no matter how many CFLs you use or what your total lumens output is, you still won't ever have sufficient to match a HPS, even if you ensure you have the right color spectrum? Intuitively, that doesn't sound accurate.

ok so what do you need to add to a bottle of gas? for it to work? as my bro has just started working at a paintball warehouse the only one in the uk..!!
and im sure if i offer him some green he can get hold of one or 2..!!
VM, thanks for the info. Personally, I don't think I am making a big difference using Co2. My little yeast and sugar method I don't think produces enough to make much of a difference. As you know, I have been toying with the idea of dry-ice for my grow but like you, I am still researching.
Fletch had it right for paintball CO2 tanks.I use timed co2 injection. I have an electronic solenoid with a timer the solenoid screws to the tank then plugs into my timeer and goes off when told to.I have a 20# scub diver tank which lasts about 2 weeeks for injecting then needs to be refill
