painted 90 degree pvc black, now tent smells….

Hey, i was told to spray paint the inside of a 90 degree pvc for my intake to block light. My grow tent now smells really strong of the chemicals from the paint. Will this affect my plants negatively?

That smell will eventually fade. Try airing it out. I definitely would not let it come in contact with your plants while the smell is still around, though.

Ive been airing it out for 3 days outside. Ill do it a bit longer and see if the smell fades.
