yeah that happens, cannabis likes a little dryness for its roots but not too dry.

I let 2 inches of top soil to dry completely before I water.

And I see much more pistils growing :)

Kinda bummed I burnt the leaf tips, and some of the first pistils ahhh!!

But it's no big deal, I'm growing for smoke, not eye candy. It's starting to smell nice and skunky with a small hint of fuel but I am sure it will get more intense later on

More hair growth all over, but nothing too noticeable. You can see in the pictures where I burned the tips of the new growth with the solution. New growth is doing excellent though. Kind drooping but I just watered her so all is good, she should perk up in an hour or so.

This thing is becoming bushier every day. I don't know but it seems as if there are 7 bud sites and that LST would have helped if I started much sooner. I don't even know if I could, she didn't even stretch enough to do that.

Week 3 Update!

So all is well still going good with no nutes. Ill give her some whenever she's hungry.

Still hydrating her every 24 hours. The entire pot of soil gets somewhat dry and she loves it! :eyesmoke:

Temperatures at 85 degrees. She seems to love that too, she doesn't really show any signs of heat stress.

Humidity, i don't really care, doesn't need to be that humid. The h2o already evaporating from the soil is enough.

She is starting to smell nice though.

So now that the other diesel ryder is outdoors, this one is getting about 10,000 lumens to her. plus four of the 42 watt 2700k which are 1,200 lumens each which is great for side lighting.

I plan on doing some home made co2.... 1 part yeast, 1 part sugar, and 5 parts water in a bottle with a hole poked in the top.

Update more hair growth all over she's starting to get ready to bloom :)

I sort of LSTed her. I took those paper clips off and put in a different thing that will hold for now. Damn I need something better to hold them

You will get there too brotha. The first two weeks to me seemed like it was going to stay tiny and just not that much bigger. After though holy mother.... it exploded with growth.

Day 24

Fed her some Big bloom today at half strength, she perked right up and is lookin good bongsmilie

Temperatures are down to 80 So all is good and the LST helped get lighting to the side branches, I notice that the smaller branches that I couldn't really tie down yet are growing less than they would if tied down. Ill tie them down in a few days or maybe today even.

Day 26

So she took to the big bloom pretty well, I will feed her some again in a week. I am feeding her every 7 days, I water her a lot every 24 hours, even less now, the soil becomes pretty dry now. I plan on feeding her with some big bloom, and the some tiger bloom a week before the last two weeks of this plants life just to swell up the nugs a bit, then I will flush for a week or two, but keep her under the 6500k CFL bulb for the last two weeks.

Shot of the main cola. More LST was done to branches not long enough before which are now lol

Gonna give her Big bloom every other watering though not every 7 days. tiger bloom on the other hand..

Those look like some juicy little plants. I've always wondered if autos really had the same potency as regular cannabis. Let us know when they are done flowering if they pack the punch of their larger non-autoflowering relatives! :joint::mrgreen:

I hope, I honestly can't wait til the chop, they smell really skunky right now. Definitely next grow I am going to grow two plants from ze kush family

Don't harvest early whatever you do. Give them that 9th week in flower. I assume that pakistan ryder is some kind of afghani genetics? A friend of mine used to clone afghani & grow 3/4 oz donkey dicks in hydro, that shit was hard core couch lock/psychedelic. Should be a much different high than the diesel, which I've found to be a heady energetic/creative high. I've smoked 5 different kinds of kush, a couple were head crushers(grape & master kush), a couple were pretty good (OG & Princess kush) & one was sub par potency wise but tasted great(another grape kush). I'd grow it in a second if I could, I love a good indica stone.

Im planning on letting it go til half cloudy half clear. Pakistan Ryder is Pakistan Valley x Ruderalis I think.

Either way something ate the leaves outside on the PR, and DR, so they are no longer with us :(

Week 4/Day 28

Well I fed her some Big bloom again yesterday morning and she really started packing in more hairs and getting ready to bud. She is now about 9" tall and keeps stretching. Germinated two super sour diesel seeds, popped em in soil and now waiting for them to pop up. They were "bagseed" from a medical dispensary. Separate grow journal for those though since this one is for the single diesel. I am planning on a constant LST and topping, that is if I get a female.

Day 31

So watered her yesterday with Big bloom and Tiger bloom at 1/4, with the BB at half strength. The lower leaves are starting to die.. not much else, no resin production yet, soon I am guessing. My intuition always makes it feel like the plant is getting ready to do something in a certain stage and i feel it before it starts. There are these calyxes that look like they are ready with brown hairs lol. Are these seeds that are being made in prep for the death of this plant? There are exactly 2 at each node.. lol idk maybe those were the pre-flowers that popped first and are swelling.
