Pakistan ryder problems

This is my first grow, and I'm still having problems on day 20. The plants look very small for 20 days of growth, and one has yellow leaves and brown tips. They also look very stretched.

Soil: FFOF

Water: Tap water running through a Brita Filter (Ph comes out to 6.5-6.8)

2 gallon pots

my watering schedule is the finger method to see when they need water.

Also, in the day time it gets about 105 outside daily, and my grow room is probably in the 90's.

Questions: How far should my lights be from the plants, (1 inch?) And when to start feeding FF big bloom to them and how much?

I hope that made sense I'm a little gone, any help is appreciated:eyesmoke:

Here they are

The one on the left has had the slowest growth, and the one on the right now has brown tipped leaves and there yellowing. Also these plants look about 200% smaller then other autos i've seen in journals, this is day 20 and they still look like seedlings.

Any thoughts?

The distance of the light is determined by the size and type of the light!
CFL's or Fluorescent can go 2" or 1000 watt MH 2' What kind of light you have?
That was the easy question:lol:

The seedling is burning up cause ffof is too hot for it! A lot of grower have issues
with it burning babies and even burning teenagers and beyond! I have had issues
with it but I've some great grows too! So now I'm starting'em in Light warrior like
I used to but I used to just use Light Warrior in the 18 oz cups then I put'em ffof
and they would get burnt. So now I just started 3 babies this time after the 18 oz cup
of light warrior. I put'em in the 1 gallon pot of light warrior hopefully their be bigger
so when they go in the ffof it won't burn'em!

These are ready for a 400 watter now but the cable man coming tomorrow:x

In 20 days how many times did you water? Not to offend but they look overwatered.

To give you an idea, I do autos in a .75 gallon pot and in the begining I do not water once planted for maybe 3 weeks because they take so long to dry the pot. I use Subcool Super Soil mix with a ffof base and lots of big and chunky perlite so it is a fast drying soil.

And with that Brita filter you may want to add a cal/mag supplement.

And for feeding you may want to hold off for about a month in ffof maybe even longer with an auto. I have seen people do just plain water in ffof with autos.

Good luck.

Same here pal, never burnt a seedling in ffof or even super soil. Most people I see saying they have had problems in ffof are over watering in my experience, did myself and now I add more perlite. But yah never know maybe they had bad luck with a bag, every bag I open is a little different from the last.

I was agreeing with you man.
If you reread my post it says I over watered.

Calm down now and smoke a fatty.

Pretty bad when you agree with people on here and they still want to argue.

Temp is your problem. Over 85 their growth slows down. At 92 they close up and stop growing completely. Easiest fix, add more fans. I don't think it's feeding or watering, but that high a temp they will not grow, they close off to protect themselves.

thanks for all the advice guys, I do have 2 fans running on them, but I think heat is the case, I'll probably just hold off on the grow until the fall or just grow it out and see what happens. I began adding some FF Grow Big today, maybe that will help.
