Hows it going? This thread is for people with ideas, this is a place for like minded people to share ideas abd build off each others designs. I am one who would rather engineer my own way than pay full price for store bought. For example, my DIY grow tent that is penny on the dollar compared to store bought and "honey pot" filter with easy refill and no mess or fuss. More plans and more tutorials to come.

I enjoy learning and teaching, I respect others who enjoy the same.. in that order. Please feel free to post ideas and comment. No negativity please but constructive critiscism is acceptable. If you ever see anything I have built that you would be interested in purchasing just let me know in a PM and we can work something out.

So subscribe, share and enjoy.. I sometimes even skype other users is they need help with one of my designs or general help with grows.

If it is upgrading, modding, fabricating, or anything along those lines than it probably belongs here. Again welcome, now lets make something cool.:bigjoint:

The only thing wrong with this thread is that you started it with a bunch of rules and no actual ideas.....

LOL.. what rules? dont be negative// thats the only thing. Your funny for that though.
Me starting the thread was the first great idea, everything else will come on its own.

A new design idea I have is for a trim tumbler, The concept is pretty basic.
Have a screened drum on a motor inside a box over the kief trap. 99% of my builds that deal with electricity have a kill switch and regulator.
The parts I use is the tricky part. I like to build things that replacement parts or build parts in general are easy to aquire or fabricate if needed.

Went to a thrift shop to get a drill and maybe a fan motor or two... this place was picked clea.. one of those places where employees take what they want and only the scraps are resold.

I did get one thing though.. A DK General Lee loaded with s&m parts and triple wall sun rims.
$9.99, I was like hells yes.. now i have something for this seasons gorilla grow.. things are looking up

Just the chain tensors, fuck even the kink chain is worth the $10. Anyone elso come across any good thriftshop deals?

I was trying to come up with a way to make some easy to use cheap light hangers. Was thinking of some kind of fishing reel with heavy duty string. Right now im using some string and tying it in knots when i adjust the height. Got any ideas for me ? ? :)

Get the dollar rope from walmart, if you tie a square knot to hooks in your ceiling and just loop the rope through the light hooks and tie a slip knot you will be great.
All you have to do to raise the lights is lift reflector and pull string.

So trying a new cloning method.. well two actually.. using rapid rooter trays and a proprietary mix of ingredients. Out of 15 or so clones, I had about 4 leaves yellow. I know when they are ready because the medium is very unstable, that said.. one way to tell is when a root is present out of a drain hole of the rooter tray also I can grab the stalk and the entire root mass comes with it. Part two is the clone soak before it even gets planted.. I think its done I just want to give it one more go around..

They have rachet straps with 1/8" rope(holds up to 75lbs). you can get them for $12 a pair at the grow shop or hardware store.
