Paranoia Will Destroy Ya

I'm so depressed today. I rent a house in rural area that is still in city limits. I have been so busy lately that i didnt have time to mow the lawn and it was getting pretty long. So last night when i got home from work i immediately realize that the lawn has been mowed(the city must have sent a warning to the landlord). Instantly my attention diverts to the fact that i have two plants growing out back in my vegetable garden. I run back to my plot and the plants are still there and the landlord mowed around them purposely missing them. My landlord is pretty cool(I've drank some beers with them and they are down to earth) but i dont know how they would feel about me growing on there property.
So I was fully gripped with paranoia last night and the only way to ease my fears was to pull my plants. I'm sooo sad right now. I couldnt move them because they were planted in the ground and i had now where to take them so i was forced to destroy them. I feel sick right now.

They may not have cared at all, considering that they mowed around them but it still totally freaked me out to know that the landlord was aware of them. They may not have even noticed them in the garden but the fear of getting busted outweighed taking a chance and keeping them. What a sad day, but my mind is at ease.

On a side note check out this story about the raids in Cali. The US drug Czar is labeling marijuana growers as dangerous terrorists! What bullshit. Kinda scary though, does this mean that if i get busted growing they are going to send me to cuba and deny me due process?

I did consider digging them up and replanting but the root ball on the one plant was huge and i thought i might kill it in the moving process. Not to mention it was the middle of the night and i didnt have a good location to replant them. Like i said paranoia will destroy ya. I didnt want to hesitate and have the man pounding on my door the next morning when i was digging them up.
The shittiest part is that nothing will probably ever come of it, but i just couldnt take the risk. Better safe than getting ass raped in the pokie for months or years.

It sucks but i'm in the process of getting a closet op started so sacrificing the outdoor crop to save my indoor was worth it in the long run.

Well, i spoke to the landlord and they didnt say a word about my crop. So they probably didnt even notice but I'm ok with my decision to clean house. You just never know. People get busted all the time and not being cautious and not acting on a hunch can be the difference between being free to grow again and winding up in the clink. Always error on the side of caution.

sorry to hear that, you did the right thing. two crops aren't that big of a deal. do you have indoor at that house to? i was thinking about renting an apartment just for growing lol

I had a similar problem today. The gas and electric meter reader came though my yard today just as I was moving a plant. He certainly saw 2 of them. He seemed to not take any notice at all, I watched his eyes and he didn't take any second looks. I also watched him walk to the other houses then right past his truck and on to the other houses on the other side of the subdivison. I figure if he saw them and recognized them and was going to report me he would have stopped at his truck first before finishing his route, I don't know, maybe not?
Anyways I had 7 plants, all in pots, so I moved them to a really secluded spot far from home,in the middle of some thorn bushes in some field.
Paranoia does suck.

A cop came to my house the other day, I almost barricaded myself in my room when I seen the unmarked pull up to my house. Turned out he was just returning some lost insurance papers. Paranoia Is a Bitch.
