didn't quite know where to ask this question so i thought id start a new thread.
the other day i was getting water from a reservoir i have set up with a flow valve running from the bathtub. I may have inadvertantly knocked the flow valve a little which caused my res to overflow, and flood my area, and room below. so this happened at like 2 am, that's when i heard the drip in the room downstairs anyways. so i stop the water flow, clean the mess and leave the bucket full til the morning. now my room is split in two, one vegging open area, where the reservoir is, and a sealed flowering area. the flowering takes place between 8-6am and vegging is from 7:30am to 7:30pm with an extra hour at 1:30 am, if youre reading this and saying wtf( you probably havent heard of the gas lamp routine),it works! my 2nd veg this wasaves money and it gets very good growth.check it out on the forums.
so in the morning i go to empty the reservoir, except it's alread.y empty! wtf right?
i have three dogs but they couldnt have emptied a 50 litre bucket that fast. let alone bone dry.
the reservoir is outside right now holding 30 litres of rainwater as i test the res for leaks. three days straight and the water is still there.
so no leak, hmmmm what does that leave evaporation????
has anyone had water just disappear from a bucket in less than 6 hours and if so what conditions lead to this?
