Good day fellow forum friends. Today I finally begin another med grow. This time I will create a journal and document as I go along.
A quick briefing about myself then the rest will be onto the main event. I've been a grower since 2005 in almost every media and environment. I've spent the majority of my grow career in hydroponics namely RDWC, flood and drain in my commercial days and even large scale hempy bucket grows. Since 2020 I have retired the salts and bottles and have been moving towards organics. I have been using Gaia Green in promix with varying yet mostly successful runs. With that I will be very open to advice, constructive criticism and will take any and all first hand experiences to heart.
This run is a special one as I've finally gotten my hands on the beloved White Rhino aka Medicine Man. This specific batch hailed from Gwinn Michigan and made it up to me here in Alberta Canada. Not without a 4 month journey and a situation at the border. A story for another day. The rest are chosen out of pure chance and are what I picked of a hat. Seriously. It's how I decide when I can't decide
Without further adue my specs for this journal.
Strains:
White Rhino- Mr.Nice (2003 seeds, hitting 20% germ rate.)
MAC V2- Capulator
MAC X Slurricane- WSS
Frosted Apricots x GMO- Collab bred by me and a forum member.
Devils Poison- Black Diamond Cannabis
Wedding Cake f4- Seed Junkie
Environment: 4x4x6 tent for veg 5x5x7 for flowering.
Lighting: 315w CMH for veg 600w HPS flowering. (Might be switching to led, more on that later)
Medium: New & Reused Gaia Green amended promix, teas, and castings.
Water: Non ph'd RO water with rain water as it's available.
That's the jist of this grow so far. I will do my best to update weekly from here on out. Feel free to pull up a chair and join me on this adventure. As stated earlier I'm open to help and suggestions as yes I have experience in growing but this organic stuff is like learning to walk all over again . Stay blessed and thanks for having me here!!
