fdd I feel for ya brother. I can actually feel your frustration growing through my monitor. I keep getting the feeling there is a concerted effort to antagonize you to the point of shutting this section down. Personally, I got tired of the angry back and forth stuff a while back and have tried to temper my posts. Don't give up on us, eventually the derogatory stuff will exhaust itself and grow boring to everyone involved. It sure seems like everything negative that could be said, has been said and we can get back to arguing over the issues and not spending so much time arguing over our own behavior. It's flat out boring compared to the great posts we had in August, on both sides. I'd like to see hanimmal and a few of the others back in the mix, I rarely agreed with them, but I miss their opinions.

I fundamentally agree with "some" of the lib posters. I too wish for a better society. I agree with them on a surprising amount of points.

What i don't agree with is the method to get to those goals. I don't believe in making someone else PAY MY WAY through life. I just DON'T. It's called personal responsibility. Not making enough money? get a better job, get two or three for that matter. It's up to YOU.

I don't agree that raising taxes increases the govt. coffers..... because all of the data shows that is does the opposite...... so I am for low taxes. People are HAPPY (important,very), and the govt. INCREASES it's ability to do general good without being such a BURDEN on its citizens.

I don't agree with the health care public option idea because this idea has been tried already. it's called Medicaid and Medicare, and they are all drowning in debt.

I don't believe the solution to a private sector problem is to turn it into a public sector problem. The GOVT sure does. Now why do you think that is?

I agree with a lot of liberal ideas, but they haven't a CLUE on how to get there, without the GOVT. Tthat's where we part company on a permanent basis. I'm just a bit smarter than that.

This is the best post Ive read from you. If this is how you posted around here all the time I would for one would give what you said much more thought. Now Iam not saying I agree with you but your points are well thought out and reasonable. Thanks for the discourse.

I have stated it before. I am no conservative, but I do demand a certain fiscal responsibility when the govt. spends OTHER ppl's hard earned money. That's where I leave the left on the curb...where they belong. They have no restraint in that area, and it is a fatal flaw. At least now you may get why I am against this Admin and Congress. I'm not against Obama...I'd toke with him....and then I'd bang him upside his head after he's nice and buzzed and ask him what the hell is wrong with his ideas..... GET BACK ON THE RAIL BUDDY!!!

ps notice how I didnt say anything about how I feel the last administration had no fiscal responsibilty ether with all there fake wars. oppps sorry lol. But at least we agree on something I just think all the administrations suck. But it is easy to judge any thing and anyone on the web its not so easy realy being in office and trying to work for everyone as noone seem to agree on anything anymore. I hope It all comes out the best for every one.

To me it is not an insult to be called BLACK even through Ive never been called BLACK before Must be all the long RED hair and my blue eyes? Personally I like lots of cream and sugar in my coffee. Not just any cream though, french vanilla.

Okay, that's a cafe mocha; a strong French roast - lots of sugar and French vanilla creme; 2 large coffees - black, no sugar.
