Ne one see that show where the guy came in with the old shelby? Guy got paid to tow it out of storage, then he got to sell it for mad money... Rick still ripped him off, but shit the guy made money off the thing twice hahaha.

I always love it when you see people swindle rick, did you see the one where the guy bought cufflinks and rick was trying to jew the guy out of his money but the guy obviously knew more about the subject then rick, haha funny shit.

Whoever said WWII in HD is pretty chill, ive watched a grip of episodes the past couple days.

Patton 360? I found the show pretty interesting, ww2 is a way interesting subject so i enjoyed that show to.

First of all if you go to a pawn shop your going to get ripped off. Some people just wanna be on TV probably. For there experts they have no reson to lie about the value. that lady came in with a 20$ st gaudens gold coin. He looked at it and said it was ms-64 and worth around 2000$ I just looked on ebay and there's one for 1800$ and it's ms-64. Now that's a safe grade so maybe it goes a little higher but only a grading service could tell you that. Rick stated he would have to get it graded which is true because you have to have a 200$ a year membership to go to the top grading services plus a fee to certify the coin. He is going to make a few hundred $ and she makes a few hundred $ less than she coud've but gets to sell it immediately instead of waiting for it to be certified and than finding a seller. I am sure the experts are paid well just for coming out or at least a percentage of the profit, the shows budget probably pays for that and so much more. It would be a conflict of interest for the experts to purchase these items from the store so for them to underquote especially on television would be stupid.

As for the pickers..they usually ask what people want so if they say 25$ and they know it's worth more well everyone's happy. The seller got what they thought was fair and they get a good deal. I don't think there's anythging wrong with that. Most of these elderly people have a lot of stuff that will just sit around and maybe get sold in an estate sell anyways so they are actually helping them out. I haven't seen anytime that they totally ripped someone off, and they are generally willing to pay a fair price on stuff that they think might be worth a lot more but they take a gamble. Like the jukebox...that guy didn't want to sell anything than they told him look you got to start getting rid of stuff and he finally broke down and said your right. Now if he was just caught up in the moment or he really didn't want that jukebox around or know the value I don't know but they did say they got the best thing he had. Also I watched him buy that bicycle with the box for like 5000$ thinking it might be a good deal and it turned out good for him but if it wasn't he woulda been out a few thousand dollars. And who knows if people are compensated for being on the show? That's the beauty of these shows is that the budgets are so low the profit margins are so high there has to be a lot of money that could be spent on things like paying people.

anyone catch the new ones last night? that sun dial was pretty sweet. As for "the whale that exploded", that show was dusgusting. lol., I've tried to watch it like 3 times now cuz it does look like it should be interesting as hell but something about all the blood and guts and that from a decomposing whale just doesnt work for me. lol.
I'm looking forward to the new how the earth was made tonight on history and the journey to the ends of the universe(something like that) on nat geo channel. I wish history would start playing "the universe" again. i loved that show.

im waiting for lockup to come on in a 1/2 hr. lol. to catch a predator always leaves me both laughing at the guys stories falling apart and their desperate attempts to get out of it while shaking my head about how they could try to do it in the first place. that key is really hard to guess the value of imo.I'm assuming its legal to own it but i wonder if they will actually buy it. My guess is between 100 and 25,000. lol. it will depend alot on wether or not it was an important one or just one of the countless others they had at the height of the cold war. to catch a predator got cancelled too btw, it really pissed me off when i found that out. If the people dont want to watch the show thats fine but the fact that i cant now because of the temper tantrums they threw and hounding msnbc to stop making it!
