that is what i use to have and it was not cutting it, if i were u i would use like 4 23w CFL's per plant also try to use bulbs with a higher lumes "2700k soft white" is better to use in the flowering stage, i would try to get CFL's with more lumes like around 5000k, to 6500k

you wanna try to have about 5000 lumens per square foot... If I were you I would put 2 26W 6500K lamps with one 26W 2700K for Veg and 2 26W 2700k and a 26W 6500K for flower... this is at a minimum... I have some 13W/15W of each temp rating just in case I need to add more light... A computer case has about 1 sq Ft give or take a lil... most 26W lamps are around 1600 Lumen so 3 of them gives you 4800 lumens just about 5000 per sq ft...

hey im a first time grower and ive got my case set up and everything but can anyone tell me if my lights will be good for vegging? they are 3 daylight cfl's 100 watt 1750 lumens, 27 energy used in watts. idk if they are perfect for growing or not. someone plz help me out! thanks and NICE growbox you got there

I always loved the look of PC cases. I just never had the guts to try it. I'll stick to my hps for now.

hey to both of you guys, 1. do it! its so worth it. only cost me $150 for a nice ass grow box scrog! ill post a thread of what it looks like soon, just get a shitty computer from a friend to use 2. i got my mylar for $20 of amazon $10 shipping 2mm thick, kinda pricy but great for the thickness

You have the right spectrum for vegging, but for flower you're going to want to get 2700K. Also, if possible, upgrade to the 42W CFL's, 27W is cutting it short, and your plants will love you.

Online is easiest; Ive seen them at Lowes (sometimes) but they're more pricey than online.

Does your temp stay 79ish with the side casing on also? and does any light penetrate? i need something stealthy so my cleaning ladies dont find it. :P and could you buy magnets that powerful at home depot?
