PC Computer Grow Case...A Newbies Dream?

Looking for my own pre built grow room, I came accross
Pcgrowcase.com
The site is selling pc computer cases that were converted into grow boxes, with built in exaust fans, lights, reflective material and more. Has anyone had experience with growing bud in a computer case? How were the results, and how much bud did you produce? The case I want is 24 inches tall and is on the site for 340$. I have no experience in growing bud and thought this might be a safe, easy and effective way to start. I'm looking to grow for personal use, as I smoke at least 2 blunts a day. Just want to grow one or two decent size plants at a time (aurora indica). I would prefer the plants short. Check the cases out on the site, Anyone think it's worth getting this case, considering my goals and wants.?

ye they look straight, you could build your own for less if you got the time. I would get some autoflowering genetics like joint doctors, dutchbreed, or lowlife. then you could breed them and never have to buy more seeds.

I used one from sunlight sheds a few years back and I got a little over an O out of it. Overpriced though you can get A LOT more for the money.

I used 8 cfl and 2x comp. Fan, got 34 g. That was white widow though

What were the measurments for the comp? What watt cfl bulb u used?

There's a user on here called Tedstah who posted a youtube video link for a grow in one of those cases in his grow journal. When I looked it seemed pretty obvious that the plant wasn't grown in the case at all.
I think I'd steer clear of someone who had to fake his own advertising material personally.
There's a link to the pc grow club in my sig and in there are links to plenty of good pc grow journals. Do some reading and you should be able to do your own case much cheaper. It should work too.

Did u grow in a pc case? How much bud did u get? What was the case measurements?

I do grow in a pc case. There's a link to my old grow journal in my sig below. It's a long read but should help you out. Check out the other pc grows though as there's more ways of utilising a case than the system I use. The pc growers social group is a good place to start.
My case is 18x20x8 or thereabouts and I aim to get a 21g harvest every 3 weeks.

21 grams is more than enough for me. Impressive. I'm gonna search for a used pc case now. Thanks a lot.

I got the one from pcgrowcase.com and it is fantastic. Get the one with the LST Shelf because you will need it to keep your seedlings on something.

I used to have that one do, So far I have had EVERY PC Case on the market. I did not like there's to much. For one the fans were not that strong and they did not get to much airflow and my stem was very weak from not getting enough airflow. Also it says it is 18" Tall but there is a 50W HPS in it and from the HPS in the way it makes only has 13" in height after it.

just build one, its cheaper and yah... its worth building your own.

yea i built my own as well. didnt see the need of spending 300$ or more for a computer case gutted, with some pc fans and a clf light. ill post pics of my setup right now (doin 2 plants, bout almost 4 weeks in) if peopel are interested.

I agree about the sunlight sheds unit. So what is the BEST PC-Case you have used so far?
