You splice the 4 wires and twist em together and throw on a little electrical tape. Not really challenging or dangerous.

If the idea worries you that much, you could simply use a PC power suply which the fas are designed to run off.

Get a $5 oscillating fan from target or walmart. I have one pushing in and one sucking out at the top of my stealthcan.

Lol. I wire my pc fans to old cell phone chargers. 2 wires to 2 wires. Add electrical tape. Use. Seriously simple. Everyone has an old charger laying around too. Recycle. :peace:

If you have spare PC fans and are low on cash for proper ones, then they do great. I've never had the pleasure of giving myself a shock with PC fans, but cant see you getting a serious one from a 12v adaptor (which can handle 2-4 fans).

PC fans run on 12 volts DC and draw only something like 1/4 of one amp.

What exactly are you worried about here?

In terms of pure danger, the actual BULBs you're running pose far more of a risk, I'd say.

I've found these cheap adapters tend to stop working after a couple of grows. I resorted to using an old power supply from a pc, great thing about that is it has a fan in it so I rigged that up as an intake then it powers my internal airflow. No wiring required.

Computer fans can have pretty high airflow for their size and noise.

However if you have old crappy fans then they won't move enough air and will be noisey, I've always used new fans.
