PC Grow Box Need suggestions!!

Starting my first grow this year (2nd overall). Going with a stealth PC Grow Box Design I came up with for the time being until I make a larger grow area. Right now I have light 3 fixtures in the upper part with a 23w CFL (100 equivalent) in each. I also have another light fixture that currently has nothing in it because I have to find a way to put it in a better place for optimized light. I plan on adding splitters in each fixture to fit double the lights in this space. The area is 16" H x 16" L x 6 1/2" W. If I plan on growing 1 to 2 plants in this how many watts should I have per plant and anything else you could suggest me do, get or have. The seeds I'm planting are 1 Dinafem Fruit Fem Autoflowering, 1 bagseed. The reason I'm growing 1 certain strain and a bagseed is just to compare bagseed growing to strains. Please anyone and everyone give me any advice, help and suggestions you have!

The starter pots I'm going to put them in are around 4" tall and I plan to LST them alot and veg for 3-4 weeks then induce flowering.

Going off the pics you don't care about smell or noise. I say put as many lights in there as you can fit. Measure the temps and grow...

You need at least 100 watts per plant.. thats actual wattage from the cfls. The incadesent equivalents dont mean shit when it comes to growing with cfls.

Not true Im using5-5000k and 1 2700k cfl 23w 100w replacement and my bag seed and auto are beast...starting flowering today at noon which all 6 cfl are now 2700k...u can check out my grow if u like.

My friend Satan (not the devil they just call him that), use to grow in a PC box.

He could pull a full ounce out of one.

He did this by tying down the heads... At about 6 to 8 inches, you simply knock the plant over, and use a string tied to it to keep it down. A number of heads will arise from this, you repeat the process until your done flowering...

You can veg em on CFL with less than 100w BUT when you flower them thats a good number to try to hit per plant from what I have read. Make sure you get the 6500k's for Vegging I used the 5000K last grow and I can tell they seem to stretch less even when the 5000k is hella close to the plant. I am testing the dual spec out on my grow now it's hard to say if it's helping, it's absolutly not hurting. I'd like to see some pics of the outside of these PC grow boxes to see just how sheathly they are.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to be doing alot of LST on the plants. But yeah I knew about the switching of the lights. But as well with the PC grow box.. Mine is just an old computer that we used until a while ago and I just unscrewed everything in it, light proofed it for the most part besides where the fans are and closed the casing back up once the plants were inside.. Simple as that.

You pretty much have the same case dimensions as I have with the exception of half an inch in depth. My dimensions are 1'4" (16") long, 1'4" (16") tall and 7" wide and I currently have 1 Dinafem Critical + Auto plant in there that is just taking up every single square inch. I have pictures if you want to check them out that way you can plan accordingly. In terms of lights, 100w per plant is a very good rule of thumb. I first started with a total of 78w (3 26w CFLs, but later upgraded to 4 for a total of 104w; both veg and flower).

In terms of yield, I'm hoping for at least 14-16g dry, I've seen 28g dry from a VERY good grow.

Alright. I'm tryna get AT least a Zip dry weight off of the 1 or 2 I grow in here. Depends on the amount of plants if 2 plant I want like 2

Just my 2 cents...keep it to one plant for a PC case. One plant LST'd right will maximize the space. Two plants will not be efficient in that space.

Alright that's what I was thinking.. Ill just keep my Grapefruit in the grow box and probably put the bagseed outside somewhere! & ill definitely be using alot of LST

image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgUPDATE:: DinaFem Fem Fruit Auto popped the soil a couple days ago and is doing well. The bagseed is also doing great and is growing. I just went and purchased some 23w CFLs 2700k & will be adding them into the area as soon as I can. I can put up to 10 lights in the right now so for the time being ill probably add like 2-3 of these in here along with the 4 other 5000k. Watering when soil is looking dry.The DinaFem is about 2 days old and the bagseed is about 1.5-2 weeks old. Tell me how you think they are looking!
