PC Grow Room First Grow

Hi i'm really new to this, so please don't bother giving me any abuse, we all have to start somewhere!

Basic story: Pc grow box, a 200w cfl, soil autofeed system. 58 cm total height. Ventilation = pc fan

Things to decide: How the hell am i going to control the odor? Really important, not sure if this 'ona' block will hack it!
How will i stop the plants from growing into the lights?

The seeds i will use: Nirvana seeds fem northern lights. The thing i need to decide on is whether to go autoflowering or not? Could i potentially stunt its growth so it doesn't grow into the light by getting a photoperiod, flowering early and sacrificing high yields? Would like the quickest grow really, so hopefully it will come hand in hand with the shortest plant!

Is that a single 200W cfl? and what is its kelvin temp? (spectrum)

Autos will grow faster and reach a smaller max size, but I wouldnt go autos for this pc grow...

You can control the size of the plant by just giving it less time in vegatative light
If the plants get too close to the light, you can tie them down and shape them as you need

Autos will yeild less weed and you cant clone them, they are expensive seeds and you lose the ability to control when to swap from veg to flower

to control odour in a grow room, usually you use a carbon filter but its way to big for a pc setup

So if they get too close to the light you would use some sort of LST? Not topping?

It's a single 200cfl, and i have a red spectrum for flowering, and a multiple spectrum for vege, which is centred around the blue spectrum (if i remember correctly, bulbs are on order!). They are envirolights, the mega power badboys.

Thanks for your help. The carbon filter one is tricky, i'm screwed every direction i take by the looks of it haha. Filter = too great for the fan, it can't push air through it, same story with carbon mesh (which apparently isn't great anyway), and i really am not too confident about the ona block! Oh well, i'll save the block until flowering and keep my fingers crossed. Worse case scenario i'll have to put them outside, which would be around september, the right light period anyway.

Carbon filter, and you could probably SCROG it, because then you solve you're height problem, and it won't grow into the light, and you'll get more in a smaller space
