i think i got it at home depot. it came as a larger piece, so i had to score it and break it to the right dimensions. key is leaving it a couple inches short in length. this gives you te cool tube effect. as far as heat it seems fine, dmnt see any deformations in the glass at all. I was worried that ii might filter the light but it seems ok

i have some new pictures but really need to hit the books,so ill either put them up tomorrow or later tonight as a break. Update though, I started the flush todsy. looked at the trichomes and about 10 % amber/pink...believe that, the are a purply pink. It kind of crpt up on me, bc i forget about the pc below my main flower a lot of the time. Anyone want to study for me/ ill hit the bong for ya

Here are those pics i took last night. I wanted the pc to make it to the weekend but with the amount of color in the tri's i think it may need to come down friday at the latest. i only started flushing yesturday, so i am a bit nervous it is going to be a harsh smoke, i guess if i flush again today and once again tomorrow they may be better for a friday chop. Fingers crossed.

Think about doing a water cure.
I have never done one but it sounds like a good option for those who have fed to the end. I also suggested it to a friend who has a thrips problem. Hope he does it as I won't be smoking bugs!

I thought about that....but i dont want to loose the taste of the weed too much either. BB is my favorite strain and G13 was good so i really want to see the product of pot F-ing, haha. I did go light on the nutes throughout so i am hoping another day or 2 of flushing will do the trick. cheers

I never really understood what SCROG stood for but now I see, that is really cool how you did that, great grow +Rep for you. Those trichome pics they still looked clear to me, I would wait a little longer, keep the flushing going cant wait to see the harvest.

did you smell any fumes from the plex? I work with it all the time, and always wear a respirator, although it the dust thats bad. Plexi is the shit. check it out at wikipedia.org/wiki/Acrylic_glass

hey guys. plexi glass is awesome, and no fumes that i could detect. it is pretty hot when you first take it out but only right under the bulb. there hasn't been any sagging or anything in it yet and it is only held up on the far wall so if it were getting soft it would have sagged by now.

as far as chopping i can't decide. It really hasn't been flowering that long though (almost 8 week), but when i look at the crystals i see some that are dark, but like a clear dark, purplish. I have never grown a blue strain this dark before...is that natural to pull some of the color up there giving it a false ripeness look? Or is that the amber i am going to see? it is still about 75% clowdy, which is where i want to chop... so are these purple tris amber or or clear....i gues thats the dilema...i am stoned as wow right now by the way

Hey guys. Going to update tonight. I still haven't chopped it down, but i have flushed a few times now so i think it is good to come down whenever. I am getting so trigger hungry, haha

On another note, I Just dug a garden bed in my back yard. Going to put some spring peas in next weekend. my back is killing me and bong rips seem to be the best medicine. haha, ububble bubble bubble bubble bubble

haha, thanks guys. I am not sure yet. I hung them on the screen so i dont even have a dry weight. I am hoping for a half z, but who knows right now. They could have went another week but i didn't want this first stuff to be too heavy.

I am going to start one from seed on this thread and modify a little bit to maybe get a bigger yield.

Read through this thread and WOW... frkn Impressive what time, skills and the given amount of space can produce. Ive always been more of a quality over quantity anyways.

i really appreciate that. I have spent a lot of time and plenty of grows trying to figure out how to maximize yields in relatively low amounts of light. Best part is that I am learning more every grow. My largest light now is a 250watt hps and have just started doing a perpertual harvest. This one was really fun to see though...it was like opening a package every time i was in my grow closet.

I have been thinking about using the pc as a breeding chamber for the female plant that i polinate. I would do the same scrog and then pollinate. i also have the first little box that i ever built, i could put a male plant in to get his man juice. doesn't aurora x orange bud sound good. or ww x orange bud.

I dont have a csale at my place rigt now but the buds are ggetting close to dry. I cut them off the stems last night and put them in a mason jar for a few hours to even out te moisture. They are pretty close to teir final weight though i think so ill grab my buddies scale...maybe a little light though, ahah. I have smoked a few of te small bottom nugs...and it was delicious. Ill takes some pics and post that in a second.

here are some pics of them. they are getting pretty close to dry. I am going go back and forth for the next week or 2 and ten lock it up for a bit to let it really cure. That bowl is the piece i got for my last harvest. I generally get myself some sort of pipe or something for every harvest. for this one i got some badass bonsai shears. they cut like no other.
