Peat or rock wool

My mothers are finally big enough to clone, and i was wondering what is better. I am going to the local hydro shop and wondering if i should get rock wool cubes or get the peat plugs. What have you had the best success with? Just my thoughts. Peat is natural, rock wool isnt, and i have heard of people adding peat to the soil. Any ideas?

rockwool is much better then peat.Peat sucks stay away from it.Rockwool is natural its made from rockmaterial. Just ph your rockwool cubes in ph 5 water for a about an hour. Then dont squeeze them just shake them so the excesse water comes out and no more water comes out when shook. Add your cutting use rooting powder its much better then the gels like clonex. I have done side by sides and I get 98% with powder and about 75% with gels and the powder clones root is 3-7 days gels take 10-14 days.Use humidity domes and florescent tube light no cfls.Mist the plants I reccomend adding some nitrozyme to the mister bottle and keep the tray on a propgation mat or heating pad that is set on some dowels or pencils so the heat can move evenly under the tray.
