Perfect dehumidifier for 4x8 grow tent!!!

Hey guys , I'm running a 4x8 with 2 600w/hps , and I'm in my 3rd week 12/12.
I'm currently running a dehumidifier that pulls 10L/24h or 20 pints/24h, and it still getd so humid inside the tent, sometimes it can be up to 80% RH , so I was wondering how big and strong the dehumidifier should be for that space. It is a really old building with insane humidity levels inside the apartment . Any help would be greately appreciated!

I would just go for a 70 pint unit and call it a day.

I have a 4x8x8.
A 30-pint was not enough.
A 70-pint created too much heat. (higher amperage draw also)
The 50-pint works best for my environment. I keep it in the grow room. (gravity drain if possible, emptying the bucket gets old quick - shuts down when bucket is full!)

This wifi unit is on my wish list, for when I need a replacement. Able to schedule settings. (lights on/off, etc)

Run it wherever your tent pulls air in from. My 50 pint is fine for my 5x5 but you say your building is humid as well so.....That kind of makes it anyones guess. I would get the 70 pint to be on the safe side.

Ok , but I'm pulling air from outside at the moment so I'm guessing I should keep it inside the tent in this case , or not?

Is your RH after a foliar spray?

Or is it after a watering?

Can you give details on how your getting to 80%

For example, my room stays at a range of about 53% RH but after a decent foliar spray, which I do about 2 times a day and they FLIPPIN love in, my room gets about 73% RH but quickly retreats back to its normal state.

Keep in mind you can always make shift your dehumidifier to simple push the warm air out of the tent with some ducting and some strong tape to cover the exhaust vent on the dehumidifier.

Nahh, it's always between 70-80% , I don't do foliar spray , and after the watering it goes up to 83% which is insane , I have that problem for 2 weeks now . Ladies are still looking good but I know I'll have major problem if I don't solve the humidity issue.
And I'm sorry I didn't quite get the part about pulling hot air from the grow tent . I do have an A/C running inside the tent as well.

50pt is more efficient than 30pt and less heat than 70pt and put it outside the tent on different breaker than your AC.
You'll want good airflow inside the tent on the plants.

Tried that early on, created a massively powerful negative pressure. Also keep in mind the hot dehuey exhaust is the dehumidified air you seek.

I often run sealed with AC and Co2. Only venting occassionally. I also have the choice of pulling air from my garage (lung room of sorts) or outside. Depending on current season temp/rh.

It's a juggling game for sure. Each environment is different.

Since you run a sealed its a little different, normally I would just unzip the tent about 3-5 inches to release some slack. I'm not sure if many people do this but I make shifted some ducting to my sealing A/C and it does wonders cooling my plants.
