depends what decade you are in as far as i can tell, the perfect ph was 6.5 20 years ago its been going down ever since, under 6 is popular now going down to 5.5
the back of my food, (vita link) says 5.5-6.5 .. i would say to the op, your guess is as good as any ones,
i cant tell you what the ph of my solution is as i gave up taking ph readings, i don't think it helps
to fuss over things that i have not noticed making any difference if its not helping its hindering so ill remove it from the process
i think the fact the food has ph buffers, trace elements chealted etc, it all take care of itself
